As 'outsiders', we moved to the area, and considered the schools heavily in our decision. Our experience- fantastic. Managableclass sizes, great teachers, great programs, committed and available administrators if you have an issue to work out. And, our kids were able to participate in a wide range of experiences from music to sports without having to be superstars. Test score are high here too. Yes, if you move into a small rural area, you can expect not to have the same 'name' mojo as third-generation families, but that's real life anywhere. In response to the supposedly 'a lot' of parents complaining about discriminatory treatment, the schools have won awards from everyone from the State of WIsconin to US News and World Report for their ability to serve all students, and provide a quality education from tech to special needs to academics. Guess they should know.
I have no idea what the parent is saying! I have a child at Reedsville Schhols, my husband and his family have went to Reedsville and my other children will be coming there as well! It is top notch! The staff and community are wonderful! I do not know anyone in Reedsville who is 'RICH'- we are all the same and I would recommend it to anyone!
All four of my kids went to school there and it was the worst place,if you weren't born there you didnt belong there.I noticed and alot other parents noticed that if you had money you were easily accepted,if you were lower class you didn't get any of the same treatment that the rich kids got.By the tyime my youngest child reached sophmore year I had it and I yanked her out and put her into another school out of the reedsville district, and she excelled with honers, doesn't that tell you something.
