I graduated from Richfield Elementary School this past year (2005). It became clear to me when I arrived at Hartford Union High School that the students from other schools were sorely lacking in terms of their academic abilities. I credit Richfield Elementary School for preparing me in my academic journey, and ultimately allowing me to succeed at Hartford Union High School. With its vast array of knowlegable teachers and support staff, the educational experience at Richfield is both enjoyable and a wonderful preparation for 'the road ahead.' Richfield despite being twice the size of Central Middle School, offers just as many co-curriculars. Each activity is ran by a trusted and educated supervisor. Unfortunately, Richfield has experienced some budget issues as of late The art program has already had class time reduced this year.
