I have been at this school for years. Multiply children of mine have had the privilege of attending this amazing school. The montessori style of learning focuses on a child's individual needs and learning styles. The teachers are wonderful, and their love of learning is clear in the way they teach. Class sizes are small, and they are multi-age. The older children teach the little ones as well. The best part of this school is the community of parents and guardians. The feeling of community and support is like nothing else in River Falls. Everyone pitches in at functions and events. Since we have small numbers, patents know each other well. It is a peaceful, loving, caring group. I am so pleased with the curriculum, staff, teachers, parents, and children. This school is really a precious gem in River Falls!

The teachers are wonderful, and committed to each and every student. Montessori is definitely a good curriculum for my child. However, the parent group at this school is down right nasty. I've watched single parents be harassed and gossiped about until they leave the school. The teachers are fine, but the parents make this school very difficult as a single parent. Also, if you're child isn't perfect, expect them to be singled out. I've had parents call me up at home because my son stepped on their kid's finger by accident, and they've told me I need to change my parenting, and be tougher. I've had staff members kids making fun of my kid for his reading, and telling him how their sorry for him because with 'just a mom' he doesn't have any money. Love the teachers, very disappointed in the parent group.

This is such an excellent school. I like it for my daughter because it is small and personal. All of the children know each other & the teachers know all of the children in the school, not just the children in their classes. The teachers are excellent. They are all good with the children and plan excellent, appropriate lessons. The teachers teach the children to recognize their strengths & weaknesses, encourage the children, are very kind and understanding, and plan lessons around the children's current interests & current events. They also teach cultural diversity including Greek (along with other world) language and culture. The Montessori style of learning is in my opinion, the best out there, and so is this school.
