So far I am very pleased with this school. The teachers and staff are open to outside ideas on education and have met special needs head on. I see a strong academic program, as well as arts and physical education. I agree with the previous review, that I would like to see an improvement in acceptance and education of diversity. Community involvment in the school is OUTSTANDING!

Overall this is a quality school. It is clean, safe, and well supplied. Art, Music, And Gym are offered more than weekly, which some schools lack with public school budget cuts. There is ample classroom space and there are good teachers. There is onsite after school care. This school lacks ethnic diversity and does not make any effort to educate its students to appreciate diversity or understand different cultures. There is very little tolerance amongst the student body for any minority ethnic group and there are few measures to improve this attitude.

Slinger Elementary has a new principal this year, but I'm sure that the quality of the school will not diminish. My children have done very well at this school, and it has certainly prepared them for the road ahead.
