Pretty good school. Our son has special needs, and we would like to see more parent and staff awareness of different types of needs children. We assume the small community may be the reason for the lack of education is some of these areas. But, the school is unique in it is an everyone knows everyone type environment. From the principal to the cafeteria staff, everyone is involved with the student.
Sunnyside was the best school I went to. I go to the middle school now. Mrs. Vanden Heuvel (3rd), Mrs. Manicor (4th), Mrs. Lange (5th) with Mrs. Lundy, and Mrs. Karcz. I will never forget Sunnyside.
Sunnyside is an awesome school with outstanding staff and parent involvement! Overall this is a great place to learn for all children! The staff is very devoted in providing a very safe and educational enviroment. The parent volunteers are just outstanding in providing what is needed to the staff.
