wonderful teachers who truly care and diligently work to provide an excellent learning experience

We have a strong community affiliation with our school. Families support our fine art programs, our academics, our sports, our nature programs, our famous civil war days, and our playgrounds. Families offer their hearts and homes repeatedly to host foreign exchange students.We regularly honor and respect our local veterans of all ages with programs, posters, and 'welcome home' handshakes. Our communities utilize our building when the local river flooded by providing temporary shelter and fundraisers for those in need! We have excellent relationships with the local newspaper, nearby television and radio stations, and grandparents frequently come here too. We are proud and full of a global awareness while situated in our tiny rural valleys in the midst of great poverty with few economic opportunities.

For such a small school they do a lot. Most schools around have sports, but ours also has a great fine arts program. Their Musicals are the best around.

I have had three children attend North Crawford. My experiences with the school were very positive, my children excelled in academics, and had very good opportunities in extra curricular events as well. The theatre program is excellent, it well exceeds typical high school expectations. The choir director is terrific as well. There also are many high level teachers in the elementary, Jr. and Sr. high school. This school is presently facing a declining enrollment, but is making adjustments. The future looks good as the majority of School board members stay informed and make qualified decisions. The administration has recently undergone change that will result is positives for the district as well. This school sends its graduates on to success in college, when parents and children take advantage of what this district has to offer.
