The teachers are great, but there is very little support for special education. There are waiting lists for special education and special help and tutoring for children who don't qualify for special education but still need additional help is virtually non-existent. The school needs to develop better programs for helping struggling learners. Right now they are so focused on testing and the Common Core, some kids are being left behind, and no one is racing to the top.

Strum has a great teaching staff, good kids, supportive parents, and a caring community. What a great combination for success.
