I am an 80 year old Grandparent whose Grandson is on the golf team. At his golf match yesterday, carts for the able bodied were not allowed. Bob Sullivan, Golf Coach, recognized that 80 year olds are not designed to walk 18 holes. He arranged for a cart which was greatly appreciated. I believe his kindness and caring typifies most teachers at BFHS. I should add that Mrs.Kaufmann, Administrator, is a graduate of BFHS and the best addition ever to the Administration Staff.

I love this school because they take the time for every student even those that are struggling. They understand that not everyone is at the same retention level, and they adjust the curriculm accordingly

I think one of the biggest issues was CORE math. Thankfully there is an alternative now and that the grades after mine can enjoy and actually learn from. But yes, it is very safe and friendly and I would recommend any student moving into the school district to not be apprehensive because it is such a nice place to spend the grades 9-12.

Big Foot is an excellent school. The facility is spacious and clean. Sports and music programs are excellent. The art program is growing and thriving. The school is very safe and friendly and the teachers and coaches care about the kids. The CORE math program now has a traditional math porgram as an alternative this year and most kids have chosen to pursue that program. This was a good example of responding to curriculum that was not working and listening to students and parents. AP classes are offered as well as honors classes. The school is a union high school with four middle schools from four towns feeding into it. Students from BFHS have placed well in competitive colleges. The school has worked hard over the past year on its budget issues it & made good desicions. Most schools in WI have budget issues.

Big Foot has a good school building and looks nice, but that is about it. Excellent Ag program, bad CORE math program. It is making cuts and is poorly managed. Test scores and classroom grades do not match up. Teachers have potential of being good with better leadership.
