I am not impressed with the Special Ed Dept. of this school. I am actually considering moving my child to a different school because Waterloo does not want to spend any resources in this team. The current team barely knows what they are doing and don't seem overly educated. Some of the classroom teachers are very dedicated but others could really care less about the students or their jobs - they are downright mean and crabby.
I find that with the rare and i mean rare exception.... the teachers at this establishment teach the bare minimum. When they have an advanced student they don't challenge them. Despite meetings and letters etc, things haven't changed. Maybe for a day or two tops but it never stays.
