This school is great and large enough to be a nice transition to high school. Teachers are available to meet if you/student needs help. Teachers and staff are accessable by e-mail too. Lessons are integrated (ie comm skills and social studies) but you do have to do your homework... otherwise you won't be successful. Most kids can complete 60% of their homework during the school day - 40% comes home which is reasonable.
My child attended Riverside and I was very unhappy with the teachers, they never got along, they never agreed and the principal was very arrogant. The homework was piled up, and for no valid reason. The lessons had no core objectives and I pulled my child after one year and went to a parochial school which was so much better! Please be careful with this one -
very good school lots of things to do for the kids. I went to this school when I was youger my son attends now and they really cleaned this school up. Kids are safe teachers are great. There also set up on the web so you can keep up on your childs progress.
