Our children received an excellent Christian education at OSS. After completing their education at OSS, they had no academic difficulty transitioning to public school and were actually ahead of most of their peers in some subjects. We especially valued the Christian teachings and atmosphere which were apparent not only in the classrooms but also on the playground and in the lunch room.

For being a Lutheran School they do a great job at teaching the kids about Jesus. Not that this is wrong, but I do feel they are a bit behind on educational side. I will say though that the school is great and you can't get much better student to teacher ratio.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
