I have two children who have both graduated from Tosa West both are now college graduates and feel that their High Schoo education prepared them.extremely well for college. I was very happy with the standards both educationally and the extracurricular activities the school offered. I am proud of all that my children acheived in their High School experience.

I'm a parent who has two children attending Wauwatosa West High School. I've been very disappointed with the high school system. The quality of teachers at West isn t there anymore and if I had to do it over again, I would move out of Tosa or send them to private school. Tosa's elementary schools were great, but after that it has been a disappointment.

My second son will be graduating from West this year. It has been an honor to send my children to this wonderful school with its very compassionate and dedicated staff. The choice of activities and special events also reflect the enthusiasm of both the staff and many of the parents. I am happy that both of my sons were able to experience an exceptional educational environment within a diverse student body where each student matters. Thank you!

It does not take many words to rate 'tosa west, this is an outstanding school with great teachers, programs, sports, after school programs, and a student body that has incredible support from the community and the parents.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. In private schools, only voucher program participants are tested.

The different student groups are identified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. If there are fewer than 5 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group. Subgroup scores for each school are only reported for students who were enrolled as of the fall enrollment count. The All students score includes results for all students who took the test, regardless of when they first enrolled in the school.
