I attended St. John's Luthernan and should've listened to the late, Pastor Mumm, my pastor, then. He wanted me to attend Concordia University. He was a great pastor and I enjoyed the school. I taught vacation bible school during the summers. I'd recommend a religious school for all parent raising families, especially, today. Religion never left me, no matter my path or choices. Thanks so much.

One word describes our experience at St. John's: 'LOVE'. St. John's Lutheran School and Church exemplify what Jesus says: Love God with all your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind AND love your neighbor as yourself. St. John's is a loving place where a high standard is set on academics, but a higher standard is lived out in the school - the standard of Christ's love for all of us! The teaching and pastoral staff are committed to each student and test results have shown that the students have responded with excellent scores. Students are encouraged to reach out to the community as young christian men and women through various youth groups. St. John's offers an excellent education while assisting parents in their most important 'duty': training their children to be faithful christian adults.

Both my sons have attended St. John's since they were 3 years old. They started in preschool, where the teacher was warm and wonderful to all the children. St. John's is like a family, and they encourage parental participation. The school has strong Christian fellowship which leads to greater understanding between school and families, and among families themselves. Our children have been getting superior faith-based education. Reading is a strong part of studies with an Accelerated Reading Program and Phonics. Drama, music and sports are available and encouraged, along with a Forensic program. Before attending St. John's my husband had reservations, he came from a public school background. Now after attending St. John's he can't even think of not be a part of the St. John's family.
