White Lake tries very hard to offer everything that it can to its students, however in the process, the quality of what they should be offering is often lost. They combine grades instead of hiring new teachers. And some of the teachers they have I pity the kids for having to deal with. However, they do still have a few of their good old, love my students, give teaching my all, kind of teachers that are the reason that the community loves this school.
For a small rural school, they do an outstanding job. The children are not a number they are all known by name by all of the teachers. It makes it very personalble and easy for the parents to work with the teachers if their children are having any problems. It is sad to think they have talked about closing this school and moving the kids to a bigger school 20 miles away. I feel this would be a terrible move and many of the kids would get lost in the shuffle. I will do all I can to continue to support this school and I hope all the other parents will to. Please add your comments so they know we all care about the White Lake School K-12!
