Writing practice: alternatives to "said"

The writer quotes people, but doesn't use the word "said" once. In this language arts worksheet, your child will read the passage to find all the words the author used instead of "said" and write words that can be used to mean "said" and "asked." Then, your child will practice locating and writing the title and author of the book this passage comes from.
