Big Horn Elementary School is a great school. The recesses are closely monitored by a good adult to child ratio. The class sizes are excellent. The average class size is 14, which is much lower than the national average. The teachers are well informed and differentiate their instruction based on the individual needs of each student.

Great school, Good math and reading focus. Nice advanced student program with gifted and talented. But lacks recess organization and structure for the kids. This leads to problems on the playground. Such as it is impossible to monitor students since there is no recess structure. Leads to some students being isolated, and others bullying. Glad to see the focus on writing this year.

Great school for academics. But needs structured recesses with supervision and planned activities. class sizes are getting too big.
