I sent my son to Greybull's kindergarten program. By the first couple of years, he excelled ahead of most of the class. He was clearly bored by the end of elementary school. In middle school, it became worse. The programs were no more challenging, and did not challenge my child. I figured that high school would solve this problem, so I left my son in the school. It wasn't any better for him. When he was came home and told me what had happened every day, I became enraged. I discussed this with his teachers, who offered no assistance. My son had an emotional breakdown, because his future looked so bleak. I know that he dreaded waking up in the morning, because his school was making him miserable. I eventually pulled him, and my son is like a new person! He is bright, cheery, happy, and loves his new school! I know that a large portion of the faculty at Greybull wasn't trying to make things miserable- in fact, many tried to help. It's just that the curriculum was way too slow and my child wasn't happy at all. I'm glad that I transferred my child. It's just sad that I had to pull him. In a clear conscience, I cannot recommend GHS, unless they have changed since I pulled my son.

As the new principal at Greybull High School I have been very impressed with our students and teachers. We have the best students in Big Horn County or the state for that matter and I am proud to be their principal. Our teachers do an excellent job of preparing our students and yes there is always room for improvment and that is where we are headed. I invite you to stop by and look at our facilities and take a guided tour of our great school. Go Buffs!

I am a GHS graduate. I felt the education I received was excellent and that the teachers truly cared for us and challenged us! I also believe that it is the students responsiblity to take charge of the "quality" of education they receive and a parents responsibility to foster and expect their children to take up that responsibility. We live in the greatest nation because we have the freedom to walk down our own path, yet we continue to have "heel draggers" who expect the best of life to be given to them without any effort on their part. GHS was a wonderful place for my education!
