Our 2 sons attended MES from kindergarten through 6th grade (now only through 5). They, and their many friends, could not have had a better education at any price. One of our sons had special education needs. He had a teacher one on one for 1/2 the day every day, and received special accommodations in the classrooms the balance of the day. The student teacher ratio is about 5 to 1, so all students receive a lot of attention. The school, being an important institution in the area, receives outstanding support from the community. We've watched many children who attended MES go on to the finest schools in the country, including Harvard and Juilliard.

My son attended this school for a short time because of my husbands job. The day we left we all were so sad. We all loved this school. Mrs. King and Mrs. Pinkerton are the greatest teachers I have ever meet. They treat each child as if they were their own. And I being new to town, they open their kindness, freindship, and loving hearts to me and my other 2 childern along with my husband. Me and my 2 girls that were not school age were allowed to come and help out when ever we wanted. They don't have school lunch there, but once a month 3 mom's or dad's get together and make lunch for the school. I thought man that would be hard to do, but it was very fun. I wished all schools could be like Moran!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
