The current principal of this school is new and it shows. He has no idea how to handle the students and his methods are all about punishment. Historically, this school often has a lot of troubled kids, but does that mean he should run the place like a prison? No. The vice principal is great and so are many of the teachers and students, so it's unfortunate that the person with the most power is dragging the whole place down. He is not good about communicating with parents or students other than to tell them what he has already decided versus working with them. His efforts most certainly do not improve the quality of the school.
I attended this school and i am happy with it. I have two childred that attended there and have graduated and are doing just fine. I love the teachers that are at linford they are very helpful to the parents and students.
Linford seems to be so far behind in teaching form other kids in the district. I wonder if the kids are being held back from learning because of so many special needs children. I would not recommend this school if education is important.
