This is a fantastic shool with high standards. I can't think of any school in the county I'd rather have my son attend. Apparently many others agree with me as many parents who live outside the district's boundaries drive their kids jto Pavillion every day just so their kids have the advantages offered by Wind River Schools. Small classroom sizes so teachers really get to know their students.
This is a great school for our children to attend. They're is not a classroom packed school! Good test scores, caring dedicated teachers & vary friendly community. I'm proud my children attend this school! This is a farm & country community and the school days are based upon that. Mon- Thur each week except holidays that occur on weekends or Mon & then school hours are Tue-Fri to make up the lost learning time. On regular school weeks children can attend Friday school for extra help such as one on one time & extra fun & learning some children and families may or may not be able to afford. It is a norm to have a fun field trip to town for a movie or adventure.
I think it is almost the worst school in the county. They have as high as 29 students crammed in one classroom with 1 classroom aide. They are more concerned with building a new school then the quality of education they are putting out. They are understaffed and quite frankly I wonder how they are meeting the state standards.
