Smart, caring and engaged principal. Technology abounds. Teachers inspire. Kids are learning. Love this school. The autism program housed here has got to be the best in the state. This school was also recently rated the #1 elementary school in all of Wyoming for 2015 by niche.com.

Rated #1 best elementary school in all of Wyoming for 2015 by niche.com. From paras, to teachers, to principal, the staff is stellar. Technology is used to promote learning, but paperback books still rule in the school library. Kids love this place.

Dedicated teachers and staff. Great deal of parent involvement and community involvement when it comes to the annual read-a-thon fundraiser. Facebook address has been updated to facebook.com/scsd2.wppto. Redesigned school website this year at scsd2.com. Students are 1-1 on iPads in K-2, and 1-1 on Chromebooks in grades 3-5 this year, so technology in the classroom is definitely giving these kids an edge like never before. This school has certainly grown stronger over the past 6 years in particular, and is always incorporating best practice when it comes to teaching the students. Strong leaders at the district level encourage professional development of the teachers and staff. ALL current teachers are considered 'highly qualified' this year.

Average classroom size is 15 students to 1 teacher. They implement the PBIS behavior system here, and it works wonders, the kids are well-behaved and respectful. Strong PTO with a facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Woodland-Park-Elementary-PTO/206796269449122 Any school in this district is great, but there is something great about the atmosphere here. Teachers are wonderful, new principal was the old counselor for 7 years and has a great rapport with the kids and parents. New school was built a few years back, state of the art equipment, etc. Won't find a better place to live and raise a family with an amazing education.

My son attends school here. The teachers are excellent, low student to teacher ratios, lots of resources, and a strong PTA.
