Base your decision on what is best for your child, not the school's test scores. Some schools may be too rigorous and stringent when your child may need self-esteem boosts or vice-versa.

Use a professional, well respected Educational Advisor. They are expensive but so worth it. In the LA area we used Solochek and Associates. If your child has problems, this is the only way to go. Their placement saved my kids life, in all ways.

Best tip--Show up just before school lets out and talk to the parents at dismissal. You'll learn far more there than you will from preselected parents at certain events.
