Raven Test Results what does it mean.

My grandson is in the second grade. He got his Raven ( GATE) test scores back. His score was 99.6% What does that mean, is it an IQ Test. He has high functioning Autism I am wondering how to help him achieve his potential.

Hi mladyraven, and welcome to the GreatSchools parent community.
I can't speak for all districts, but he's very close to highly gifted. In my daughter's district, 99.9% is highly gifted, and from 99.5 to 99.8% is called highly gifted applicable and he'd be eligible for placement at a highly gifted magnet, as well as all the regular gifted magnets.
Your grandson is considered 2e, or twice exceptional, meaning he is gifted and he has another issue that will affect his learning (in this case, autism).
I'd ask to speak with the gifted coordinator at his school if there is one, and if not, contact the gifted office at the district. As well, contact the special education department and see how they can accommodate his educational needs along with any special needs he might have.
