Where to go?

I am looking to relocate to South Carolina from PA (soon) and searching for a good elementary school that my child will get a good educational experience at. What are people's suggestions on school districts or area to look into? Why?

I am a mother of two who has moved my kids around too. However, if you are moving to Columbia, SC...I can highly recommend Lake Carolina Elementary School and the entire district in that area. They have superb, nationally acclaimed Blue Ribbon schools in addition to magnet programs in science, technology, math, a nasa program, ecomonics, arts and physcial education. It is one of the best school systems I have ever been a part of. We lived in a Fabulous Community too...Lake Carolina. It has its own YMCA, a town center with lots of fun and events, retail establishments, parks, pools, and the elementary and middle schools are within the community boundaries.
