Should teachers friend their students on Facebook?

There is no problem with it. Teachers normally wouldnt friend all their students of course just the ones they actually like. But, I recommend adding the teachers you like when you graduate. So, then people won't look at it in an illegal way.

MY SON WILL STAR K. AT NEWCASTLE ELEMEMTARY.I had shop around x others school and I think this one is the best school in the valley. I just have a good feeling.
I hope that my son will be so happy and Newcatle.

No. Teachers are not students' friends. They should "lead" children (students) by setting a good example and teaching their students that being friends is not appropriate for many reasons that go beyond the realm of the student-teacher relationship.

No, teachers and students should not "friend each other. It is a slippery slope and one worth avoiding.

Not appropriate for teachers to friend their students. Ok for teachers to have a facebook page. They just need to keep in mind that it is not a private site and be cautious as to what they post. That goes for all adults!
