Clanton Middle School

My daughter & I loved the 3 years she spent at Clanton Middle. Mr. Finlayson, the principle, always greeted students & parents alike with a smile and a few friendly words. The teachers were great, and the kids seem to be happy. I miss her being there, since she's now in her first year of high school. It would be great if Clanton Middle could be considered for America's Favorite School!

I go to this school and i love it. I have been going to this school my hole life and so did my mom and brothers and they loved it. The teachers do care about you and they do not scream, yell, embarass, or make fun of. I thank i would know and you can not have backpacks for our safty. I love my school so if you would like come!come!

i think the middle school is great.I have been there.the have great oportunities for the kids.

This is absolutely the worst school I have ever known of. The teachers and staff don't know what they're doing nor do they care about the students. They have rules that don't make any sense such as no backpacks at all. They scream, yell, embarass and make fun of students. My son has been going there for almost three painful years now and in that time his self esteem, grades and outlook on school and authority in general has went down dramatically. Thank God we are moving. He will be going to a much better school. Any school would be better than this one.
