My son attends WCS. I feel his teacher is very devoted to her students and goes above and beyond to insure he's learning and growing. I enjoy the many opportunities he's had to learn outside the classroom and to grow in his faith. That being said, my only complaint is the financial burden it put on our family. Every week there's some new thing my child needs to bring money for. The tuition is not cheap, add onto it the cost of tshirts(sold several times for varies functions), fund raisers(spirit cards, hams, pies and cookbooks) the yearbook, and field trips. It's alot of extra expenses! If your considering Westgate for your child, keep in mind that tuition is just the start of it! Also, I find it curious that my child has art class once a week (an added fee when you register) and seldom brings home any art projects. Maybe they assemble a portfolio or something...but I have certainly not seen many art projects coming home.

My son has attended WCS for Kindergarden and 1st grade and will be entering 2nd grade this year. I love the school. The education is exceptional and the parental involvement is tremendous.

I am a teacher at WCS and am thrilled at the level of education the students receive as well as the love and support freely given to every single student. From pr-k up through middle grades, I daily observe happy, healthy children worshipping God in chapel, learning about God in Bible class, participating in fun and engaging physical education, learning foreign languages, experiencing unforgettable field trips and so much more! Academics are superior, offering college preparatory leveled work , And in 2009-10, the school will complete its conversion to a Fine Arts and Technology School. WCS has offerred a quality education for 25 years and is getting even better with the addition of art, art history, theatre, music, creative writing, poetry and computer science technology. WCS also offers a year-round day care. What an awesome elementary experience any child will have at WCS. Highly Recommended.

For the sake of full disclosure I should say that I am not only a parent but that I serve on the Board for the school, I am a minister at the supporting church and I assist in leading chapel for the school. We have two daughters who have just completed their second year with the school. Our impression from day one has been very positive. First, our experience regarding the spiritual environment at Westgate Christian is that it is a top priority. In fact, the school added a full-time campus minister this year who teaches Bible classes for the grade school and works to be involved with the students outside the classroom. Second, the academic quality has been second to none. I have witnessed first hand teachers who stay as late as 6PM to do extra work for their classroom and children make marvelous leaps socially, academically, and spiritually.

My Daughter is in the 4-k progrem this year(2005). This year has been a real disappointment. She has been going to the school for 2 years and the previous year was Wonderful! I do have to say the quality of the teachers (esp. hers)is great! She has grown alot this year. I feel as it is more of a Leadership problem. This is a Christian School and I feel as it does not really portray that quality. That is just based on the way I have been treated and my family. My child will not be returning there next year. It is a shame this school has always been Great! until this year. The academic program is Good and the extracurricular activities I believe needs some work. If you want your child to grow more in God and learn good values. This would not be the school. Thanks & God Bless

My daughter is currently in the preschool program at Westgate Christian. She has just completed the K-3 program. I believe she has received an excellent start on her education. More importantly, I know when I leave her each day, she is going to be well taken cared of and loved. She has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy. When the administration found out about the possibility of this, we received an outpour of love and concern. They were ready to do anything they needed to ensure her safety. I highly recommend this school to anyone, especially the preschool program.
