I am a student of FHS. I am very proud of the school i belong to. Never will you find a classroom eviroment with as much love, and school pride as you will here. Our principal is fair to each student no matter what their background is he shows no favoritism, as some people are saying. I am proud to go to this school. The teachers/staff are nice and help you eagerly they do enforce the rules clearly and fairly. The atheletics here are amazing. Our community supports our teams at home and away games in all sports that are offered here. Our school maybe be small but, it seems as though we are one big family, FHS is, the best school i have ever attended.

I too agree with John Johnson. At all the schools, including the elementary there are some bias teachers. There is one elementary teacher that is awesome that my child loves & still talks about to this day. As for the Middle/High School, the teachers are good & your child will learn, but some are bias. There are the teachers at the beginning of the year who decide whether they like your child or not. As for the policies, some need to be read again & readjusted. There are such things as ammendments, which would help these policies to better serve the lower and middle class students so that they would not suffer for some minor mistake they make where as the prestigious kids will get away with it. So if you have money, come on in.

This is a great school.It has great teachers that really care about the student's.It also has tremendous coaches who care more about the athletes as students instead of always putting wins and losses firstThe town of Flomaton is truly blessed to have such an excellent school.

Flomaton High School is a great school. They have good teachers who really care about the students. Most people that don't agree with the school or its staff are people who's kids are not doing well with grades or they are the center of most of the trouble that goes on in the school. I know some great kids in that school who have high Christian values. The teachers are fair. They show no favortism to any students. The sports are very important to the principal and the school, but not as important as discipline. I know because I know the principal. He is a good man with good moral judgement. The negative comments written about this school is not grounded with any factual evidence. This is a great school surrounded by a great community.

I am a graduate of Flomaton High School. There are some good teachers there and not so good teachers. When I was there we didn't have a problem with drugs in the school or teenage pregnancy. But now this school has gone down hill very fast. I think the school needs to crack down on discipline and teach abstenance. This school used to be a great one now it is not worth much considering your childs education and their environment around them.

I agree with John Johnson's review. I am an honors graduate of Flomaton High School and will soon be a graduate of the University of Alabama. During my time at this school, I noticed that the administrative staff, teachers and especially principals, showed favoritism to students whose parents were well off. Underprivelaged and low income students were always unneccesarily punished while those of so called high end backgrounds were never punished for anything. This is a community school, everybody knows everybody, and everyone does show favoritism. Unfairness and Prejudicial practices are practiced at this school and I would not dare send my child to Flomaton High School. Parents beware.

This is the worst school I have ever seen. Teachers are supposed to monitor the classrooms as well as teach. Many times my child has come home to tell me some horror story of what went on in the class room that the teacher knew nothing about even though they were in the room at the time! When things have happened at school we are sent to various school officials who all tell us the same thing: 'this has nothing to do with me, I can't help you'. The last time this statement was made by the principal. Excuse me but what good is a principal if something in his school 'has nothing to do with him'? For any newcomers looking to put their child in this school, my advice is move out of the district or look into home schooling!

I have been very pleased with the Elemetary, Middle and High school in Flomaton. There are a lot of great teachers. The football games are enjoyable to attend. The Town of Flomaton supports the football games with their attendance at home and away games. I like that the school is small and everyone is familiar with each other. The Principles and Teachers have been helpful and easy to talk to.

this school is a joke.the school has a big problem with parciality due to social standing of family and finacial status.Kids from prestigious homes are looked over in discipline and are choosen in extracuricular activities over those who come from blue collar homes.Disciplinary actions are not taken care of promply if the child has money and social standing.those who come from lower standings are punished harshly and swift while those with the 'clout' go unnoticed.The Teachers there are either too old or to young with power hungry ambitions to sufficantly teach the children who want to learn.If I had the power, I would see to it that this school would be shut down perminantly!
