I love this school and the people there. They just need to offer more varieties of classes to the students.
i like the school is fun to go to ithink that anyone shoud go there
As a former student Class Of 1994, I must say that CCHS has changed. Many changes are needed in the entire school system. I feel that the technology needs to improve, school activities should eb updated, and there should be better administrators. Why are there still white and black Homecoming courts? I think parents needed to know that there is a rude awakening awaiting there students once the leave CCHS. The uniform issue is a waste of time. We never had them and typically only used a private schools anyway. The learning experience needs to improve! I would love to see mentoring, tutoring, and more college preparness done. And why are soo many students not graduating due to the exit exam? The school systems is failing. Recognize it. A new superintendent and principal is needed. This year.
As a former student at CCHS, I would have to say my time there was full of encouragement, devotion to learning, and understanding. With a new building in the works, the school will have more physical appeal to the community and the teachers should have better classrooms in which to hold their classes. Without taking into account the sports the school offers, it's educational standards are clear. The teachers try their best to steer their students in the right direction. This, however, is only strengthened by the participation of the parents. The staff at CCHS is possitive in its outlooks. I was there under the great supervision of Mr. Tony Counsilman, but there is a new principle, Deborah Dennis, who I hope takes as much pride in the school as he. CCHS continues to hold onto the tradition of being a small town high school.
CCHS provides a great learning environment for its students. Its teaching staff's main focus is to help the students learn the most they can. CCHS has great band and sports progams that strive hard for excellence. I would strongly suggest to anyone moving to this area to enroll their children at Clarke County High School.
I hate CCHS. The school is more focused on dress code and other ridiculous rules than our education. The sports and all are good we do have good extracurricular actuvites but the students who should be in certian activites the school won't put them in there. I have also notice that the teachers at clarke county high are also predjuidce. They make judgements about us students before they get to know us. Clake county high is not a very good school to go to.
I encourage most of everyone in Clarke County to attend this school. My child has gotten a very good education from there and strives to reach his goals. The teachers there are wonderful!
