Jackson-Steele offers an environment that is conducive for learning. The teachers and other staff all care aout the education of the students and they work hand in hand with them to make sure they strive for excellence and become 'fierce competitors'. Some of the things I like about the school is their open door policy, so to speak, parents are always welcome to come and volunteer school wide; the level of respect the teachers have for the students and parents; also how each student is made to feel special no matter what. Inclusion is key; 'Children that learn together, learn to live together'!!
This is the best elementary school in Lowndes County to send your child/children. The principal is an excellent person to work with and so is the staff. I would recommend JSE to any parent.
