We love Robertsdale Elementary School. My daughter is in Kindergarten. The school is very organized. Her teacher is a very caring and patient person! She has done very well and is performing above average. Although there are lots of students I don't feel like she has been lost in the shuffle. Mrs. Shepherd is a wondeful principal.
This is such a wonderful school! I have a child in 5th grade, and I am an employee in special education. The principal, teachers and staff are all very dedicated to the students!
My great grandson attends the second grade . He started in early intervention with ms. Jennifer co0k. She started him on his path to a wonderful time at robertsdale elementary. He only weighed one pound at birth. This scool has been a life saver for him . He is now in ssecond grade and excelling in his subjects. This is in thanks to all his teachers he has had and mr danials who runs a tight ship there. I again want to thank ms. Cook and ms. Kay in the early intervention program
Because the people and kids there are nice and polite. when you ask them for something they do their very best to get it done for you...
I enjoy my children attending this small community school, as it has a 'Mayberry R.F.D.' feel to it. The school has some very good teachers. However many of them are inconsistent in enforcing the uniform policy, and also my children complained of several very *mean* teachers who yelled and punished students in the car rider line without reason. They were very upset about this, and apparently the administration looks the other way and allows this to happen. In addition, the district itself has a shortage of funds. BAsically, if one can overlook the inconsistencies of the faculty and the shortage of funds, this school is a good one to attend.
This school is wonderful, this school helped my son a lot on reading (thanks to Mrs.Fogle and Mrs.Sinclair) Mr.Downing is wonderful you could not ask for a better principal. He always knew my name when i come to pick up my son and he knows my son. He keeps up with his students very well, and no one can keep a car line going as good as him A+ for this school.
Robertsdale is a great school. The communication between parents and teachers is wonderful. The parents are encouraged to be active and involved in the school, and are welcome to visit at any time during the day. We had considered private schooling, but decided to give the public school a try first. I was extremely happy to find out what a joy it is to be involved with Robertsdale Elementary. It's nice to be known by name and face rather than just a number. The student/teacher ratio is outstanding and better than the schools I attended in New York State. I'm proud to have my child enrolled here, and encourage you to consider it as well. Mr. Downey is a wonderful principal, and we can't wait for his return from Iraq.
My children go to this school and we have been to 2 other school's and this one is the best. My family members complain about their schools I never have too.
