I wasn't ready to admit my baby was ready for school. I reluctantly went to kindergarten registration, and was amazed! The children are so polite! They all walk on the right hnd side of the hallway. There is staff present to moniter the kids in transition from class to class. The teachers are all very nice, and willing to listen to concerns. Mr.Pressley (principal) is great! He sat dow with me, listened to my concerns, and we came up with a plan of action to correct the problem I was having. I like how they offer different electives to the kids (computer, art, character ed, & library). The PE program is outstanding!!! The office workers are great and know the answers to all the questions I have had 9or they find them quickly for me). My only major complaint is carpool security!!

We have recently moved to Tallassee after attending a well-known private school in Montgomery. From the time we first entered the doors to register our child, we were amazed at how friendly and caring everyone was. We all felt we had found our home! Changing schools is never an easy transition for anyone, but we could not have asked for a better experience for our child. Thanks to everyone who has and will continue to nurture and teach my child! Way to go Tallassee Elementary!

My girls spent two years at this school and we have nothing but praise for their time spent here. Both have had excellent teachers (Ms. Baswell and Ms. Sanford are great) from homeroom, gym, to TAG. The administration at the school is always helpful and caring. We're now moving out of the area and we can only hope that we find another school of this standing. Thanks Tallassee Elementary!

My son's kindergarten teacher (Jamie Aldridge) and his current teacher (Kipp Griggs) embody everything that educators should be. They both have gone above and beyond to meet the needs of my visually impaired child. The principal, Mr. Pressley, is so kind and supportive. My work has allowed me to interact with teachers and principals from all over the central part of Alabama. I have rarely come into contact with this caliber of teachers or administrators. Mr. Pressley and his staff do an excellent job of creating a positive learning environment for the children. I couldn't ask for more!

Good school not only in terms of academic performance. They teach children good manners and right conduct.

I have a child at this wonderful elementary school. Moving from North Alabama 5 years ago we were very impressed with the caring and interest in each child's accomplishments and willingness for each child to excel at this school. Deborah Norton

I have 5 children in Tallassee's School System and I am also a substitute teacher. All of the teachers I have worked with have been very supportive to the children & very concerned for the children's learning success. I highly suggest Tallassee Schools over the surrounding schools. I've also attended Eclectic Schools and they do not stand anywhere in comparison. I try my best to offer help and support to the staff every opportunity that is presented.

I am an intern from Auburn University Montgomery. I am doing my student teaching at this school. The school is a wonderful place to teach, with wonderful co-workers to work with. The principal is a wondeful person who is very supportive. The students here are a good group of children who make this school what it is. I have greatly enjoyed working with the students and staff at this school. This is the type of school that I would want my child to attend.
