We love this school. I believe every parent who is concerned about the status quo of public school In Fairbanks needs to put their child in the lottery for Barnette. The teachers are excellent, the staff is helpful and the PAC is very involved in making this a top school.

Barnett Magnet School has a good staff, great parent involvement and a variety of classes that involve our community. The school does it's own fundraising activities that provide for spenditures on enrichment activities. The kindergarten program, an all day program is phenomenal. The children all participate in presentations of song and signing from the first few weeks of school. My grandson is now in first grade and he loves going to school. I am happy my grandchildren are and will attend Barnett.
