Do not send your child to this school unless your child can learn in a open class room and no teacher help class room setting, student has to be self motivated to do well here
My son has gone to Tongass School for four years, and my daughter for two, and they have both done great! They have had dedicated, caring teachers, and almost everyone on the staff is super!
My child started going to this school in 1st grade and she loves it! She is learning a lot and loves learning. This school has a friendly, caring atmosphere. They do a lot more hands on learning than the public schools, which the kids love! I cannot say enough about this school, it is awesome!
