This school may lie and say you have a chance to graduate early here, Positive friendly environment but its all a lie. The principal at the Casa Grande does not really care about your education. The administrators in the phoenix area made new rules in which made it harder for students to graduate early, as well as the fact that the administrators don't hear your opinion. My final statement is everyday before school I wipe the smile off of my face, and get ready for a war against the people that just want me for money not to help further my education.

With the schools new Principal and staff they've definitely changed the school around. They're very encouraging and came in with the main objective being to help their students succeed. I've seen the major progress at this school, just from being here thru the period of change in staff members. Overall it's a excellent school to be a student at, with great peers and staff members.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.

For high schools, AIMS results, AYP status and graduation/dropout rates are used. Schools are identified as Excelling, Highly Performing, Performing Plus, Performing, Underperforming, Failing to Meet Academic Standards or Pending.
