Finley Farms is an excellent school. The curriculum is great. It has exceptional extra curricular activities and accelerated learning programs. The staff is supportive and well qualified. My son has done very well by attending this school. He continues to improve and grow into an exceptional young citizen. I couldn t see my child at any other elementary school then Finley Farms.

My son transfered to Finley Farms starting in 4th grade for the 2003-2004 school year. So far it has been a very unpleasant experience. Classrooms are way to crowded (30 kids in a class). My sons teacher on numerous occassions has said that she is to busy for this or that. If your kid doesnt fit the 'norm' dont expect any help.

Finley Farms has an excellent principal. He is out with the kids in the morning and release times. I think he makes an honest effort to get to know each child on a individual basis. The only negative thing I noticed about this school is that if a child excels in a specific area they are not challenged enough. I would hope to see this change in the furture

If your child has no special needs then Finley is a good school. None of the teachers are willing to teach outside 'the box'and because of budget reasons your child will get very limited special needs help.

Very positive experience since the beginning. Our child has attended since the school opened. She is now in 4th grade. Great teachers and wonderful principal. A lot of parent involvement!

We are very happy with Finley Farms. We've had 2 children at this school, one currently in 3rd grade. They have challenging programs for advanced students as well. Very nice neighborhood school, and we've lived in 3 different states(OH,CA, AND CO).

We had a rough time at this school. The teacher was not helpful in the areas that my son needed. Overall, I did not like mine or my son's experience at this school.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. GreatSchools' profiles currently show AIMS mathematics, reading and writing results. 2013 AIMS grade 10 results represent on-track 10th graders for the 2013 test year. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
