St. Louis the King Catholic School is a wonderful Catholic school where I feel really blessed to send my two children. The new principal, Ms. Krushinsky, is very dedicated in raising the academics and ensuring students know their Catholic faith. She's always willing to listen and offer guidance. The secretary, Mrs. Burgoz, is very friendly and caring. Most of the teachers are top notch. My children have been at SLK School for five years and I wouldn't send them anywhere else.

I currently have a daughter in the Pre-K program at this school. What a WONDERFUL experience she and I are having with the teachers and office staff! The teachers are outstanding and my husband and I couldn't have chosen a better place. We are so happy with what my daughter is experiencing!! She comes home daily with new information and I am just so pleased with how much my 4 year old is learning! The communication from the teachers is amazing and I am so happy that my daughter loves school!

They tout how long the teachers have been in eduaction as experience, but what you are ones that can't hide how fed up kids they are. The parents are extremely cliquish. If you are a parent that is truely concerned about your child's education please consider the following: there are no advanced classes and no support or monitoring for learning disabilities. I have both situations in my family. My daughter now goes to advanced classes at her new school and my son now receives help for a learning disability that wasn't recognized until we switched schools despite speaking to teachers at SLK repeatedly about my concerns for him. He was simply written off as a "bad student". They just don't have the support systems necessary. If all you care about is a mediaocre education and learning about God, then go with SLK. As for me, I will teach my kids about God at home and send them to a school with the educational support they need.

This is a great school! They have a challenging curriculum, a very well qualified and experienced teaching staff and their principal is very caring. The school is close knit, but in a family sense. Parents are not only invited, but encouraged to get involved, both by staff and by other parents. If a parent is not involved it is likely by their choice rather than the school's. In addition to a strong curriculum, this school also teaches children to be accountable and responsible. I am proud to be an SLK parent.

I am noticing a large amount of 'good' reviews but see none of the not so 'good' reviews. I do not recommend sending your child to this school. This school is small and very close knit, I feel that if you have enough time and money, your child will be treated very well by the principal and staff. There are parent cliques which are worse than the children cliques. If you do decide to send your children or child to this school, please speak to various parents, not the ones the staff recommends and not the parents you see in or around the office.

We have four children at St Louis and have every intention of sending our two year old from Pre-K to 8th Grade here. All of the teachers that have taught our children (we've had a student with every single teacher now) have been very well qualified, and very caring as well. The principal and the office staff are amazing. They will work with you in every way to make sure your child is receiving a good education. They know every single child in that school by first name, and they love each and every one of them. It is a tight-knit community that accepts newcomers with open arms. We have been to two other Catholic schools, but we have found our home here, for both our school and our Parish.

My daughter attended SLK for the past three years. First of all there is no cafeteria. You have to buy a seperate milk ticket. Huge problem. The teachers were adequate. Discipline problems throughout apparenly thers not a program or anti-bullying plan for staff or dtudents. I have worked in three public schools in Phoenix and they are implemented. Good religion instruction. Kudos to Miss Kathy in front. And come on guys cant we get a playground moniter thats female and under eighty and clean shaven? Lowers your comfort level. Grounds are always wee- maintained. Out of 5, I give SLK a 2,

I have two kids 4th & 7th grade who have attended since Kindergarten (sadly pre-k was not yet opened for them) Everything about school is excellent. Despite what others have said, tutoring is available, teachers are dedicated and principal is top-notch.

My children attend St.Louis the King for 2 years now, with the tuition increasing next year, me and my husband are wondering is it truly worth it, I wish I could be honest but this school lacks a connection between the Catholic values we send our children to Catholic school for, and the Principle is not approachable when it comes to discipline, I feel that their is no discipline policy at this school not what you would expect from a Catholic school. I read the comments posted for this school and I would have to agree ! with our economy the way it is we all do have choices now more than ever.As for me and My Family we will invest else where.

From my experience at St Louis The King I think that we have wounderful staff and they work extremely hard with the children. I have 3 children and they all attend school here sence pre-k. I have seen an inprovement in my childrens education. To me it's great to see my children to go school and have a smiling face, I love to listen to them when they come home and tell me what they learned and what new experements they done in science class . The staff goes out of the way to work with the children and the parents to help and find a solution, when a child needs the extra help. The help is there when you need it!! Way to go to all the staff. As for the principal she is an amazing person. so as for my family we love her and THANK HER!!

I love this school. My son attended this school from 3rd to 6th grade and the beginning of 7th grade. The principal is amazing and so is Kathy the Secretary! We moved back to California, so this is why my son is no longer there. We miss this school so much. They have fun Fundraising events like Pancake breakfast. My son now attends a Catholic School in Los Angeles and we are so sad that he is not getting the top notch education he was getting at St Louis the King. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a great education for their kids and the community is very friendly and inviting. I miss everyone at St Louis the King and my son has fond memories of all his teachers. Maybe one day we'll move back and if so, i putting my daughter in this school.
