This school is the first choice we made and theres no regret! Mrs. Reis is one teacher I am thankful for there. She is doing a great job with her students, and Im sure the other teachers are as well. The Principal is devoted to her students and teachers, along with her volunteers! I am a parent and appreciate the staff for all they do in support of our children's education, saftey, and wellness! So keep it up!!!

My daughter had started first grade there after attending Alhambra Kindergarden Center. The very first thing she learned there was how to forge her color for the day if she didn't stay on green by later coloring over yellow with geen. Then I had her teacher call and bluntly tell me that I needed to medicate my child which was not recieved well by myself AT ALL! She has since been diagnosed with ADHD but we don't medicate her instead she has to therapy/ counseling and went from D's and F's to A's, B's, and C's from one report card to the next but she also gos to a much better school in a better enviornment., but this is a horrible school and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!! Not to mention how offened I was when they sent her forms fot me to fill out, since my daughter is half native american with color to her skin, they assumed we were spanish speakers and sent everything in spanish ONLY! Not even forms that were 2-sided english on one and spanish on the other.

Peck is an excellent school. I've had 2 children attend this school also numerous relatives and friends. The only complaint we have ever had was extracurricular activities. The activities would sometimes overlap with Barcelona and those of us with children at both schools had to pick and choose which events to attend

Carol G. Peck is a school founded on excellence. The Principal, teachers, and staff truly care about my child. The homework program requires friendly parent involvement. I feel included every step of the way. My child looks forward to attending school each day.

Pretty much a new school. The way the school is built seems very safe--students never leave the building to change classes everything is in the building. Very nice facitilies, library is great. Some employees from Barcelona have moved over--the librarian, music teacher.... Mr. Domalin also came over as principal the first year which was great but her retired. When my son went to school their I felt he was in a positive environment with an enthusiastic staff and strong leaders.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
