Western Sky Middle School

Principal's inexpereince is putting students and staff in danger and allowing students to fall through the cracks. My child is not getting the help he needs and he is bullied!

As AZ public schools go it is fine, but if you come from out of state you would be shocked at the lack of homework and critical thinking this school offers students. The classes are quite crowded and the principal is inexperienced.

I'm a 7th grader at WSMS and this is my first year. Coming here, I just knew i would have lots of fun things to look forward to. There are nice, friendly people that will help you with any of your problems. Already, i've made some great friends! Honestly, though there are some 'bad' words and such, but every schools like that so it's no big deal. I love it so far!!

WS has suffered from a loss of most of their veteran teachers in the last few years. This is a much different school from when my son attended 5 years ago, when Heather Cruz was the Principal. I hope things get better, or I am considering moving my daughter from WS. Is this young new Principal up to the job? Was the house cleaning that is obvious to the neighborhood going to bounce back in the near future?

This school is the best school i have ever been to and i have the best teachers anyone can ever have , the classes are fun , challenging, and very helpful. i saw the bad reviews people put and i strongly disagree, self esteem is brought on everyone , but if they cant handle it they have student advisors to go to , the student advisor i'd recomend you go to is Ms.Troy , she is a great student advisor and is big on self- esteem and the school rules , she will help you out entirely. :] i have been to this school for about 2 years and it is AWESOME!! If you have a bad review think about it again , its probably something that happens to every school , unless you'd like to trnsfer your child to a charter school :]

Western Sky is a great school! This is my third year here and I have enjoyed this school very much.I think WSMS has an amazing education, an incredible staff, and a great principal. This year is my last year at WSMS, and I can honestly say I will miss the teachers, the campus, and the staff. I was reading a few bad reports and I really disagree with them. How can parents accuse the school of having a lot of theft issues when it happens in many other schools?! Western Sky does not deserve to be called a bad school! !WSMS RULES!

This is my second year at westernsky and I just love it, this the best school I've ever gone to. Some parents say this school brings down thier kids self- esteem but it doesn't , only they themselves can do that. I mean I am havin the best time of my life here and i feel right at home. I am a track star, am on the basketball team, and in honors which proves westernsky isn't the reason kids self esteem goes down it can be a variety of reasons. This school in fact has amazing teachers, sports teams, faculty, and students which makes it a place i would always want to spend my time at.

my daughter was recently pulled out of Wigam Creek because of its lack of discipline and help, but when she moved to Western Sky she loved and got the help she needed to succeed. All in all, I and my daughter enjoy the school to no extent
