All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

We never expected to attend to Trinity Lutheran. I thank God daily for putting Trinity into our lives. We have been Blessed. Trinity is a school centered around Christ, community, curriculum, commitment., and communication. Christ is the heart, the peace, and the head of Trinity. He is present, and actively guiding the decisions, the actions of the school and its staff. Trinity is a community of families working together for the good of the school and the good of Christ. The curriculum is set at the HCD, pushing the children to achieve, to develop a love of learning. Pupils are prepared for the future, academically and spiritually. Teachers, families, and the church are committed to Trinity; it shows daily through preparation, volunteer service, and financial support. Finally, communication is taken seriously. The principal and teachers are easily reached by phone or email; dialogue is open. Via Gradelink and the school website, parents are kept abreast of grades and school happenings. My daughter graduates this year. After 28 continuous years of elementary school, I can honestly say Trinity is the best I've experienced. We have been Blessed.

Trinity Lutheran is a great Christian School. My three children have attended since preschool and my oldest it in middle school now. The teachers are caring and attentive. Other families are amazing. Education is wonderful. But above all, I love that my kids get to learn that Jesus is in everything they do everyday. He is part of their studies, sports, discipline, play...everything! Nothing else is more important than that. :)

My son is currently in preschool at Trinity and my daughter went to preschool here as well. We love Trinity, their preschool program is wonderful. It starts at 2 years old and the children do not have to be potty trained which is great! The teachers are great, the campus is safe, clean and very friendly. We love Trinity Preschool.

This school is the way school should be. The teachers are all compassionate and excellent examples of how we need to be courteous and kind to everyone. The class size is small and in addition there are teacher helpers so that each child receives a lot of one on one time if needed. The environment is open and welcoming with high parent involvement. We unfortunately only attended for one year due to a military move but I wish we could package the school and take it with us. Since there is preschool and elementary, it was convenient for both of my kids to attend. I was always treated with loving kindness by all the staff and saw the principal out and walking around all the time giving children high fives. Trinity is an unbeatable place for God centered learning, fun, and grace and well worth the investment!

Thoroughly impressed for this school. Although you will pay for it. There was only a single teacher i was unhappy with, the rest were phenominal. The principal and admin staff are unbelievably responsive. My kids attended for 4 full years, unfortunately it was no longer affordable, otherwise they would still be attending. Parent involvement is excellent as well, take the time and get to know the other parents, it is well worth your while. Where else can you find enough parents to fully staff and drive kids to all of the field trips, they dont have a bus. Negatives: Ever increasing cost, After School care is also expensive, no bussing anywhere, constant feeling that the school is trying to milk money through 1000 different fund raisers per year.

Both of my daughters have attended TLS from 3 year old preschool through 8th grade. Not only have they received an excellent education, they are prepared to go into the world and stand firm in their faith and convictions. Now that my oldest is a junior at Millennium HS it has become clear how the education and training received at Trinity has prepared her both academically and in her personal life. She is ranked 2nd in a class of 600 students and is able to balance studies with clubs, varsity cheer, volunteering and a personal life. My eighth grader is also an excellent student who is proficient at the time management needed for great grades, volleyball, confirmation and her social life. We are grateful to the caring influence the teachers and staff gave both of them over the years. A unexpected blessing I love and appreciate is the caliber of students and parents that make up TLS school. Their care, dedication and influence has completed the wonderful place that is Trinity Lutheran School.

Love this school. My daughter has attended this school since she was 2 1/2 years old. The preschool is outstanding. Great teachers, loving environment. She is currently a 1st Grader. Her reading is growing by leaps and bounds. The school approach to reading is wonderful. In 1st grade they have music, science, social studies, spanish with all the traditional subjects. How wonderful to be exposed to so much. The homework load is reasonable, Well worth the tuition, my daughter will have a wide open opportunity available to her because of the education she is receiving at Trinity Lutheran School.

Best school we could find and we looked at what seemed like "them all". This is the only school I actually felt GOOD about leaving my kids there. The staff is amazing!! Sure, you have to pay for extra things here and there but its a private school! That is what you do. If you want things to be free, go to one of the many over crowded, poorly performing public schools in the area. I have felt welcomed by the community and so happy that they accept parent involvement. We will stay at this school as long as we can!! No others even compare.

Not one bad thing could I say about Trinity Lutheran School. I originally brought my daughter to Trinity, because I wanted her to learn the things about Christ I couldnt teach her. My family is so thrilled to be a part of this school. Not only is she learning about the Christian fellowship, but her academics have sky rocketed. The time that the teachers take with the students here is awesome. The whole Trinity staff is very welcoming! We plan to stay as long as we possibly can.

Overpriced; too many "extra" fees/fundraisers on top of the high priced tuition; Politics are too involved; the principal was uncaring for the needs of my child. Mrs Mossi was great! We started when my daughter was 2 years old & son was 4. Left mid 1st grade (son). Moved to Phoenix Christian West from Trinity. My son was behind in his math skills that he had to play catch up. Very disappointing indeed, especially after spending thousands of dollars from Trinity, and knowing that your child is behind in his math skills! Beware!

We recently started sending our daughter here, and WOW, we were impressed as soon as we walked in. We looked at so many schools, but this one was the only one that made it seem like our daughter would be well taken care of, and that they were really interested in her. It's an amazing school with exceptional teachers and staff. We were blown away!

My granddaughter goes to Trinity Lutheran School and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences for her and our family. The staff truly care about each student and we feel that she is very safe and loved there. Not only are they taught the basics of education, but they also learn valuable lessons such as respect for others, along with many other such lessons which will carry her through life. We could not wish for more.

Trinity is a school at the top of the charts for academics. My children have attended since Preschool and we feel like part of a family. A great foundation was given by Trinity for my daughter who is off to High School next year. With any school, students, parents there's will be issues, the difference is at Trinity, mature, God-centered people/faculty are involved to direct the issues/situation in a loving manner.

Trinity is always a great place but it is especially wonderful during the holidays. The students learn compassion as they build food boxes for community families at Thanksgiving. They celebrate the joy of Christmas through their "Happy Birthday, Jesus" parties. They are delighted to participate in Christmas programs and Trinity's Live Bethlehem Village. I can say many great things about Trinity Lutheran School such as dedicated staff, involved parents, beautiful and safe campus. However, to me the children are what is most impressive about Trinity. It's an atmosphere where children are respected as unique individuals. The students demonstrate responsibility, appreciation, respect and integrity. They are growing and learning and they are happy.

I have worked at Trinity for over two years and am thankful to be part of this amazing community. The parents are very involved in helping their children succeed. The kids are motivated learners that excel acedemically. Teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a safe classroom environment that challenges the students while making learning fun. Most importantly, the children grow in their faith and relationship with God every day. I am blessed to be working here!

Both our preschool and elementary experience at Trinity Lutheran School has been very positive. Teachers are thoughtful and committed to the student s best interests. Exceptional AIMS scores captures only one facet of the dedication to solid academics. Terrific student to teacher ratios, and the judicious use of classroom assistants, support a quality academic environment. The principal is highly engaged, accessible and dedicated to continuous improvement. We ve benefited from the commitment to academic excellence in a Christian environment and watched our child both thrive and excel.

My son attends Trinity Lutheran School for preschool this year and will be attending kindergarten at Trinity in the Fall. We are very happy with the school. The preschool curriculum is a very traditional preschool program with a good mix of art, music, religion, fine motor development, pre-math and pre-reading. The teachers do a great job at classroom management. The kids in the class all take turns, listen and respect the teacher. Most importantly, the kids are having fun while learning. The kids aren t sent home with homework and worksheets. Rather they are making shapes and pictures in clay or shaving cream; they learn addition and subtraction through games, and grow their vocabulary and spelling skills through songs. Last week they released their butterflies they watched grow from caterpillars. We are not members of Trinity Lutheran Church, but we are always invited and feel welcome at the family and children s programs offered, including a live nativity at Christmas and a tour of Jerusalem at Easter. Parent involvement in the classroom is also encouraged, but not required. Trinity is an A+ school.

Our kids go to pre-school here. We love that the teachers are members of the parish. The offer great flexibility in programs (2 day, 3 day, 5 day) and a before and after care staffed with great ladies in a semi structured environment, just enough activity and free play time. Our kids get an introduction to a faith based education without feeling it's mandated to them by mom and dad.

My daughter attended pre-k (4 years old) at Trinity. It was a very loving place and she enjoyed going to church and learning. At the end of her year she knew all her letter sounds, counting up to about 30- sometimes more- and knows her letters & numbers. She went 5 days a week. The teachers were very sweet. I don't know if it really challenged her but she had fun. The art projects could have been more creative for the kids- many were copied images to color ect. At her previous pre-school they had a lot more material for them to make their own creations. She missed that freedom at Trinity. Their after school/daycare program was ok- very nice caring staff- I just like the program at Luke AFB better. Lots of kids in a big space. I don't know that she enjoyed the little lambs part of the program.

I think it's the best Christian school. The teachers are great, they challenge the students and go the extra mile. Every class so far has had a teacher with a full time aide in each class. We had problems here I dont think the new principal is all that great and I dont think that its worth the [money]I pay for my child to go there. My child is in the first grade and for spelling test they expect the children to know how to spell words like Trinity. At normal schools when the kids are given 10 regular words they are sometimes given a couple of challenge words that are extra credit if they get them right otherwise they dont count. Not at Trinity if they dont know the challenge word its counted against them. Also in first grade they take Spanish which is great but they are in first grade and they take spanish test on the colors and the days of the week??? At this point I would not recommend this school to anyone.

We have had our son here from preschool to fourth grade, and our daughter from preschool to kindergarten. We have been extremely pleased with all of the teachers our children have been with and are secure in our feelings that they are getting a very good education. As in all schools, there are areas in need of improvement, but these are not substantial. There is currently a small core of disgruntled parents that are making every effort to disrupt the integrity of the school's reputation. From what I have listened to many parents there and believe their reasons are isolated and do not indicate any severe problem with the school. I would recommend any to this facility.

Trinity Lutheran is the place for children to get an excellent education in a safe and loving environment. Education is the priority, but Trinity also offers sports to the middle school along with several specials for K-8 such as art, music, Spanish, PE and computers. The leadership of the school is readily available to parents who wish to come and speak to them. The classroom environment is Christ-centered even when outside forces (disgruntled parents) try to influence the atmosphere. Tuition is lower than most private schools in the area, but what you get is high quality, so you get more for your money. The teachers are excellent and go over and above what you would expect. Trinity has size limits and has an aide in all classes that warrant them. Trinity's middle school is top notch, preparing your child academically, socially, and emotionally for the next step in their life.

This started out as a good school form my child. Initially there was a smaller number of children per teacher, which is not the case anymore. The teachers aren't as patient as they once were. I am extremely disappointed with this school. If someone were to ask me to recommend this school I could not. When we enrolled we had high expectations and were glad because of what we read in here but we have been sorely disappointed; misrepresentation of their website and we find the school being run by their minister but not by a school board that represents the school but the efforts of parents (& Perhaps some teachers) by this senior pastor. Decisions made for education content, quality, & monies spent by hardworking parents are left to the chosen few thus leaving educational goals in the dust.

This used to be a wonderful school, it has gone downhill in recent years. It is by and far overpriced. The principal wants to control every aspect of the school. In addition if you are from another Christian church you will be pressured to join or at least participate. My daughter cried because the music teacher and the principal made her feel responsible that we didn't attend; it also effected her participation grade! Why would anyone do that to any child? Especially educators!

My Granddaughter started preschool at three and is now ten, Trinity Lutheran School is the best thing that could happen to a child. The leadership is remarkable from the office personnel to the principal. The parents and all family members are encouraged to take part in the development of the child. The education is remarkable, far surpassing the local schools in competitive testing. There is never a day my grandgaughter doesn't want to attend school, she relishes the challenges presented in class and on the playing field. The school staff takes an interest in each individual child, along with the principal and Pastor. The learning technique used is more than filling in the squares, it is assuring that each individual child understands and comprehends what is taught. The children also learn manners, respect, and consideration of others.
