i have two children in this school. Overall the teachers rock. My daughter had a little bullying issue also and the principal was not great at following through but the assistant principal took care of things. overall ive been very pleased.

I have five kids in this school, up until this year I would have to rate it a 1 out of 5. I have struggled with principals, and teachers regarding my children being bullied as well as extra attention for my child with ADHD. I have finally gotten the help I've been seeking for the last 5 years from the new assistant principal. She is a god-send, she has paved a way for my children to get the extra help they need and are legally required (IDEA Act) to recieve.

My daughter just completed her first year (Kinder). I was pleased with the fact that they give a lot of homework off the bat for Kinder. Perhaps they do this in other schools, but this is my 1st child in school. I'm amazed at how well she learned to read and write considering she had never been in pre-school. Over all, I would say the school gets an 8 out of 10 for me!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
