Liberty Arts Academy is amazing!! My daughter has been there for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. Both the teachers and staff are all wonderful and have never had a complaint come up. I love all of the activities they do; talent shows, book fairs, musical programs, ect. This school has really helped my daughter in many other areas that a traditional public school would not have provided. The principal is wonderful and knows both students and parents by name...she often greets you at the door during drop off and pickup. Can't say enough good things about this school!!
My daughter loves Liberty Arts Academy. She comes home eager to share her experiences from class. She loves to read and enjoys math but she particularly loves her teachers so far. The Smart Board is an added joy too! Lots of visuals in her classroom. LAA gives moderate homework but the classwork is fulfilling for my daughter's level. I love the fact that they have lots of extra curricular things to do...music, art , PE, computers etc. I only wish they had the funding to add swings and equipment for structured playtime. Corporate sponsors are heavily needed in this area... please assist!
My name is cheyenne and I have been a Liberty Arts Academy student for 8 years. I started here while I was in kindergarden. We have some of the best teachers ever and they really care about your child's needs. This is a great school to make friends and get a good education. The teachers are supporting and very easy to communicate with. The older kids usually talk to the teachers about things that we did over the weekend or other breaks. This is a great school and I will be extremely sad when I have to leave! I have met some of my best friends here that I never want to leave.
I love this school! My oldest has been in a few different public and charter schools and now she is to stay put. my other kids started there this year and I am very happy with the kindergarten staff! they love it and I like the art and music/drama classes. they are built into the curriculum - its not like the public system where they have a parent come into "teach" art once a month. the acedemic curriculum is amazing and I am happy that my daughter is not being "dumbed down". I would recommend this school to anyone.
Liberty Arts Academy in three words: caring, accountable, dedicated. The teachers and staff are involved and energetic. My daughter is exited to go every day, and I like the homework we do together as well as seeing what she has completed in class. The teachers and staff communicate well and are very accessible.
I feel extremely honored to be a part of this team! We all care about children!!
My son has a lot of behavior issues. The ENTIRE staff at Liberty is helping him be the very best that he can! He's profoundly deaf and they were excited to take on a new "challenge" when we enrolled. He came from a public school that didn't want to mainstream my son with his hearing peers. This school was excited to get my son "back on track" and in an environment where he would be least restricted. Yes, he had setbacks, but now he's doing great! He loves his teachers and I'm fairly sure they love him too. This year, my youngest started going to their 4 year pre-k program. (They also have a 3 year pre-k, but we weren't aware of it last year). He LOVES it. He comes home telling us about what he learned. He fits right in. Hands down, this was the best choice for our family!!
Liberty is a great little school. Don't let the "6" rating deter you. I consider myself something of an expert as, unfortunately, my 4 kids have been in too many schools to count. We will be sticking with Liberty. My kids feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. The staff is warm and approachable. Their teachers are fabulous and they are learning a lot. Miss Waisel is doing an amazing job of growing the school and Diana at the front desk is a sweetheart. All charters have growing pains, but Liberty's staff is exceptionally dedicated. My kids even love their bus driver, Megan! Thanks especially to Mrs. Fett and Miss Fuscher for a wonderful year. We're so glad we found this school.
I love Liberty Arts Academy for their caring teachers and staff members! My two daughters have learned so much academically and emotionally from the overall experiences and teachings at the school. Also, as a single mother, I have found the staff to understand my situation and help me if needed. ~Geniene Hogan Rivera
I really love Liberty Arts Academy. It is an amazing school and I am very surprised it is not rated higher.... both my kids are doing excellent there. The staff and teachers are all so friendly, they genuinely seem like they care about each and every student. Mrs. Fett is amazing and when I moved and had thought about switching my girls out of the school due to distance, she went above and beyond making it to where my kids could stay. I honestly couldn't begin to explain all the great things about this school. It is truly an honor to send my kids here!
