Unless your child is "typical", don't waste your time! We went through the tour and it all seemed lovely and then we mentioned our child is on the spectrum and it got so quiet you could hear a pin drop. We expressed our interest and said we would hand in the paperwork. A few days later I got a call saying next years class is "full". I called back not letting them know who I was and sure enough there were spaces left. I tried talking to the principal who didn't call me back at first when I finally got hold of her I was told my child wouldn't fit in. I didn't realize when you're a private school it's ok to discriminate.

This is our fourth year at DVLC and we are continuously impressed with the academics, music, drama/dance and overall experience for our children. A great sense of community and parent support is present. The staff has been teaching together for many years. Extracurricular sports are organized by the parents outside of the school. Great school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
