Three of my children attended HTA and received an excellent education. They have formed close relationships with faculty members who truly care about them as human beings and as students. They have a strong art and music program and they teach computer science that applies to real life situations. The teachers are the kind of people that you want to have as role models for your kids. The administration tries out new strategies for working with kids; they gives creative license to teachers to try new ideas. I am very happy my children received such a fine education. They are learning how to learn and I love that.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of being an educator for fifteen years. This is my first year teaching at HTA and it has been very exciting to see teachers that also feel it is a pleasure and privilege to teach the children. Every teacher from grade level teachers to special area teachers give all their heart everyday. The educators are well trained and have mastered the craft of reaching children. The staff has raised the bar well beyond state standards. Because the children are put in a nurturing environment, they are able to reach these high expectations. Most of the children are performing above grade level and a handful are performing close to two grades above state requirements. It is an amazing thing to witness. The school has incorporated string, computer, Greek language, music and physical education classes.

As a parent I have been very happy with my child's experience at Holy Trinity Academy. The small class size, individual attention received, and professionalism of each teacher has helped my child become prepared for the challenges ahead. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested.

Now that the end of the year is over, I wanted to write a post-review of HTA and the stellar foundation it provided my child for his 4th grade year when he had to go to another school. (HTA currently goes through 3rd grade). The small class sizes and one-on-one teacher/student ratio were the perfect ingredients for our child to transition to another private school with bigger everything! Even his current teacher has praised his academic knowledge and work ethic that he received at HTA. For our child, HTA provided exactly what we wanted Orthodoxy, small class size, GREAT teaching staff, and wonderful parents and children to interact with. I would highly recommend this school from their preschool program all the way through 3rd Grade!

Kindergarten program is below average. Academics are not emphasized and my child left knowing less than his friends from a public school. There were only 10 kids in the class and still there was no individualism. Math program they use is good but it is not implemented well. Mathematics are definitely weak at this school. Some days went by without any academics being done at all! My son called them "no work days". At this young age the children need repetition in order to learn but they don't get that repetition in the Kinder class. A lot of work was done by us at home to make sure he is moving forward. We are obviously switching schools and we definitely know that he is not ready for first grade at another school. Principal is the priest of the school but really not a very present figure.

HTA is an amazing environment that fosters the development of character tools to build confidence and a love for learning. We are so blessed to be a part of the HTA family and its continued success!

Small calss size=more attention for your kids. Teachers are amazing. Preschoolers are learning about fine arts, classics, respect, music, religious education. You don't have to be orthodox to attend. The teachers are very knowledgeable on gifted children as well. This school is very traditional in the best sense, they have a christmas pageant every year and graduation ceremonies. My child was shy but since has come out of the shell and is articulate and begs to attend everyday.
