That school rocks! there is a lot of freedom and rights! the teachers are awsome, and the principle is funny, cool, and awesome. I love everything about that school!
GHMS has exceptional teachers that truly care and are highly qualified in their content area. This school uses the Character Counts! program and the students are involved in community servicelearning projects. There are clearly defined rules and expectations that are consistently enforced by the assistant principal. The school atmosphere screams we care about kids and have high expectations of them! Great School!
I honestly didn't think i got the education i was aiming for at this school...Some teachers just gave you assignments and expected you to have it done by the next day even though they didn't really teach it to you...There is too much rules here and you get in trouble for every little thing so i dont think this school is great
Your child will get the education he derserves. No reservations here!
Glassford Hill has great teachers with many who go above and beyond the call of duty. The school implements the Character Counts program as well as the WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) mentoring program and the overall student body is a great group of kids. The administration has the students' best interest at heart. Both of my children have attended this school and I would absolutely recommend it to others.
i am a current student at ghms the teachers rock. they are some of the best teachers i have ever had.
I am a former student of GHMS and personally, I loved it! Sure, all of us students complained a lot about it when we went there, but I never realized how well I had it there until my family moved and I had to attend a school that truly is rough around the edges. I have to admit that the administration was very 'power hungry', coming up with bogus rules such as splitting the boys and girls up for lunch. But on the positive side, the teachers genuinely cared about the students. The athletics were also pretty amazing considering it was only junior-high level. Overall, my time at GHMS was by far one of the most amazing experiences ever and I would recommend this school to anyone!
Glassford Hill Middle School is a Phenomenal example of what a middle school atmosphere should represent. Teachers and staff are helpful and highly qualified with a powerful interest in their students lives and success. GHMS is a school of character and strong discipline. It is technologically convenient allowing parents to view student's grades online with detailed assignments and attendance. I strongly advocate enrollment at GHMS!
Organizational skills of the staff appear to be low. Counseling of the kids upon receipt of report cards and other events does not seem well organized or thought out. Principal appears to be intelligent and controls the kids well at assemblies. Academic programs are OK as well at the athletics, but not impressed in comparison to schools elsewhere in other states. Funding is low for Arizona schools and it shows. Teacher turnover is high.
This middle school has a rowdy student body that has a poor reputation in the town.
