A private Christian school that is affordable to middle and low income families? It sounds unheard of, but Arizona International Academy is that school. The staff is great and truly cares about students. Every year, the school goes on an international trip. It is a great experience for the students and an opportunity to learn about other cultures. Some of their past trips have included Italy, Cambodia, China, Russia, Spain, Iceland, and many others. AIA also has a focus on community service, which the whole school partakes in every week. This is truly a great school that helps produce well-rounded students.

What a wonderful environment for students! There is variety in the curriculum, plenty of outdoor time, low teacher to student ratio, and awesome local, state, and international field trips.

Excellent school. Small, caring. Ken Bursey goes above and beyond every year. He cares about each of the kids who attend. He looks for the best and figures out a way to bring that out in them. The international trips are amazing.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
