Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

My child is currently in the 3rd grade and this is our 3rd year at Imagine Rosefield. Our experience has been extremely positive, the staff is incredibly dedicated to the development of the students, the character development that is encouraged and recognized shows that the goal is to help each student not only excel academically, but to also understand what it takes to be a responsible and active citizen within a community.

I love our school! The overall feel is inviting and family oriented! There are many ways parents can be involved too. They have reading intervention for all grades, which is extremely important. The teachers are warm and caring too. We love our school.

Imagine Rosefield remains a favorite for us, even with us having to juggle schedules more with our older children, our two girls are having a great enough experience that we don't want to take it away. They both have IEPs and special needs and Imagine Rosefield has been our best experience for helping them succeed!

Imagine Rosefield is a wonderful elementary school! Our children have been going there since kindergarten, and the school has impressed us year after year with their dedication to academics, character, the children and their families! They are constantly striving to achieve more as a school as well as meeting individual goals. It is a clean, friendly, and safe environment for young children to learn and grow up in and into remarkable individuals. Parent involvement is celebrated at the school, which in turn only enriches the student's experience as well as the parents'. To be a part of Rosefield, is to be a part of a family!

We love Imagine Rosefield. I have a 3rd grader and a kindergartner enrolled at Imagine Rosefield. This is their first year at this school, and I wish I would have sent them here last year instead of enrolling in the Dysart District. There are so many positive things about this school. The teachers and staff are always friendly and warm, and make every parent and student that comes into the school feel welcome. Principal Mecca is very friendly and involved with the activities around school, and can even be seen helping out with parent drop off and pick up. There is great communication between the teachers/staff and parents regarding the goings-on around school with the mass emails, classroom newsletters, mobile phone apps, and class websites. I really could go on and on with positive words. The ONLY bothersome thing about the school, is that there is no busing available, and parent drop-off/pick-up is pretty crazy. Imagine does a great job of managing the traffic as best they can to make the drop off/pick up go as smooth as possible, though.

This is our first year at Rosefield. We have 2 children that attend, one in Kindergarten and one in 1st grade. We were looking at schools that were a little more focused on academics.. but still made it a fun place to come to everyday. This is definitely it. I have watched my littlest one in Kinder come home and tell me how great his day was and all the new and exciting things he learned (shout out to Mrs. Heimann). As far as the 1st grader he was a little behind, given the fact that the school he attended the prior year, was not as driven as Rosefield. After a discussion for about 35 min on the phone one night with his 1st grade teacher.. I knew that this teacher was NOT going to give up on my son. Not only did I feel that, but she told me that as well... it will still be a long road to get him where he needs to be BUT with the motivation of this teacher (Mrs. Gutherie) we WILL make it. Thank you Rosefield.

I have a 2nd grader and a Kindergartner and we couldn't be happier. This is our third year at this school and we have no complaints. I love that the school administration communicates with us often (sometimes twice a week) through email. The teachers we've had are exceptional. My kids are receiving an outstanding education. We love Imagine Rosefield!

Imagine Rosefield is a school that teaches character. something that is no longer taught in many homes accross the United States today. Character and education go hand in hand to prepare students for how to act in the real world. Employers are looking for students that have strong moral fiber, and I believe that Imagine Rosefield lays the groundwork for this growth. I am proud to be a Rosefield parent, to know that what I teach my son at home is reinforced by all the teachers at his school. This is a parent choice school and i stand by my choice to send my son here, to a place that he is held accountable at school as he is at home.

I have 5 kids and we have been going to Rosefield since 2007. We absolutely love it. The teachers are amazing. They are talented educators but they also go above and beyond to take care of my kids, to love them and to make sure they are always challenged. The school provides art, PE, music and computer instruction as well as the core standards. Each grade level does a community service project every year which I think is an essential part to a good education. My kids are progressing in all areas of their lives and I love that. I also appreciate how family friendly the school is. The district schools in the area do not allow younger children to accompany parents for any reason including class presentations, celebrations and assemblies. I can bring my younger children with me when I visit the school. They are also very accepting of volunteers so I can be involved that way as well. The principles are visible and accessible. We could not be happier.

I was so excited when my kinder got into Rosefield! What a difference compared to Dysart! She adores her teachers, the uniforms are a great relief from having to figure out what to wear, principal is very involved, and it has the feel of a private school. So looking forward to the years to come!

We have been at Rosefiled since December of last year. I was most impressed with the schools ability to recognize where my son was struggling and establish intervention within days of being at the school. My son went from a Kindergarten reading level to a 2nd grade reading level within 3 months (as a first grader) Our previous school had constantly told us (as parents) that clearly we were not reading with him at home. With intervention and continued reading at home our son has excelled. While I believe any school you look at will have strengths and challenges, Rosefield as a whole is a great fit for our children. They have several after school programs and do a great job getting kids involved in celebrating education and promoting school spirit. Fifth Grade began using Cornell note taking this year. I was excited about this since our children had used this previously. Front office staff is amazing. They greet you warmly are extremely helpful. The administration (Principal and Dean of Academics) have a strong presence on campus. There is daily interaction with them and I appreciate their accessibility. I would strongly recommend giving Rosefield a look.

We are new to Imagine Rosefield this year and have been made to feel very welcomed. Before school even started I had went into the office to get some information and the front office staff already knew my sons name and wanted to learn to pronounce his last name. I enjoy the small family feeling and atmosphere, the principal is constantly seen with drop offs and pick ups helping the teachers and students. The PTO is responsive and helpful whenever I have contacted them. I love how attentive the teachers are to both parents and students. Its a completely different, warm feeling than the larger public schools! I cannot wait to enjoy the rest of the year... thank you!

My previously homeschooled kids are attending school for the first time at Imagine Rosefield. My kids love it. Their teachers are sweet and extremely hard working. At drop off in the morning they are greeted with smiles and friendly faces. The teachers do a really good job at keeping parents in the loop and the curriculum is keeping my kids challenged. My daughter attended kindergarten in this school. After a year, she had learned a lot in her 1st year of school while having fun. As parents, we decided to let her stay in the same school as a 1st grader. This school had received 4 national awards for the school year 2013-2014. I feel that this school is a safe place for students. The faculty and staff are always cordial and happy. Both internal and external part of the building is clean and well organized. The lesson plan is good which puts the school in a higher level of standard. I strongly recommend this school. Thank you Imagine Rosefield vor taking care of my child and making her excited to go to school everday and learn!

Imagine Rosefield has been a great choice for our daughter. The kindergarten team is exceptional and so welcoming, and 3 weeks in to the school year the first grade teachers have been helpful and responsive. The school is also very family friendly. Siblings are allowed on campus(with parents of course) for assemblies and everyday lunch visits. The office staff is also very friendly and even recognize you if you volunteer regularly. I was very disappointed my daughter attend this school for 1 year and half and since the beginning she was having a hard time with the other students, when I took the matter with the principal they said they will take care of that but the problem was never resolve. The teacher that first year was good but there was no organization on that classroom, by the next year they have new staff and she was gone at the middle of the school year they have to let her know we never known the reason but i was glad, My daughter was being bullied from other kids and they seems don't care talk to the principal and again nothing happened I was so frustrated as a parent because my child didn't want to go to school any more, so I take her out of that school at the middle of the year and that was the problem, know she is happy to go to school and I cant ask for more good school too and she is motivated to go. The lady on the front is is only friendly with the people she wants other than that very rude. I so happy i withdraw my daughter from that school. i read before a comment of another parent similar but know I understand perfectly.

I have had 4 kids attend Rosefield. My younger 2 still attend there. Communicating with your child's teacher/staff & parent involvement is what will make all the difference. They have played such a positive role in my children's education with their patience & kindness.

My son has attended Imagine Rosefield for two years now. He has been very fortunate to have the same teacher for those two years..(Mrs. Winters). She is a wonderful teacher, and she is always communicating with us parents about the students progress. My son also attends the after-school program. Its a great program if you need child-care before or after school hours. They have also implemented a great security system at the front desk in which all visitors provide an ID before entering the school. Overall its a great school, and my son will continue to attend Imagine Rosefield.

Enrolling my daughter in Rosefield was the best decision for us. In the 4 years that she has been attending Rosefield, I have seen her grow in every positive way. She is encouraged to learn at her own pace and her progress is monitored for all of us to observe. Her teachers have been amazing, always there to help and very quick to communicate with me throughout her time with them. On the social side...The school has a "kids at hope" program that truly encourages all the students to interact and appreciate each other's individuality. Rosefield came highly recommended to me and now I tell everyone I know about our great elementary years.

Imagine Rosefield has phenomenal teachers that really care about the kids and they seem to keep them ahead of the curve. We brought our son to this school to avoid a bully teacher at the local school. We were sad when we learned our son was being bullied by his teacher so badly that he was having anxiety attacks during the day and when being picked up. He was becoming shy, and losing his confidence. Instead of fixing the problem they blamed it on us and wanted to put our son into behavior classes. We pulled him out after 2 weeks and he now goes to Online public school. He is petrified to go back to normal school because of this teacher. Don't let your children be subjected to this first grade teacher. She will damage your kids and you will be left to pick up the pieces

Love Imagine Rosefield! My daughter is entering fifth grade and has been at Rosfield since Kindergarten. One of the best things I can say about this school is they don't "teach to the test" and instead focus on building character while giving kids a strong skills foundation that will help them succeed in high school, college, and beyond. The teachers and administrators have helped shape my child into the wonderful, caring and happy child that she is. She is ecxelling in EVERY subject because the staff truly invests time and energy in to each child and challenges each of them to be their best. I absolutely recommend this school.

Imagine Rosefield is an excellent school with caring and dedicated teachers and staff. Our daughter has gotten excellent teaching and is ahead of the game in reading and math. She is constantly challenged to excell and is also given outlets to express herself creatively. The atmosphere is encouraging, positive and our daughter looks forward to learning and growing from her teachers and the interactions amongst her peers. My husband loves the uniforms ,less arguing with the girl about what is not apropiate and i am very impressed with all the personal help my son has gotten with having learning dificulties. He has managed to catch up 1,5 grade levels in only six month. Switching my kids from theyre previous school to this one was one of the best things we did for the whole family. Every staff member is super friendly ,easy going, dedicated and comited to the kids and theyre parents/caregivers. Great comunication between parents and teachers and the princ.and vice, pric. are hands on. There may be a lot of homework at times and you have to be dedicated to helping youre child with it but it is all worth it in the end. Thanks Imagine Rosefield

We have two children in this school and would not send them anywhere else. After spending years researching schools and talking with parents who had their kids in many different schools, Imagine Rosefield seemed the clear choice by a landslide! We have been extremely happy since day one. This school certainly focuses on exceptional education, but what is more impressive to us is that parallel to the education focus is character development. Both elementary directors are approachable, communicative, and accountable. The teachers and staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend Imagine Rosefield to any parent that is looking for an exceptionally education for their children with an environment that sets them up for future success in life.

We moved to the area in the middle of the school year. Our Kindergartener attended a previous school in another state. She came to Imagine Rosefield not knowing how to read. Within weeks our daughter was reading and now its been 3 months and she can read anything. The kindergarten team and specifically our teacher is INCREDIBLE! They have surpassed our expectations by a mile. The whole school is awesome. The students do so many fun and creative things, they learn at a higher level and the school is warm and loving! I would recommend Imagine to ANYONE! We LOVE it and plan to send all of our children there!

Our son has been at Rosefield since Kindergarten and he is now in 3rd grade. The staff and the principals are really great! I have three kids in Ros field . I was very happy and love the education but my oldest daughter hooked up with the wrong crow. I ask for help from the principal and I received no help. all I received was negative comments on my parenting. My oldest daughter receives great grades but just was hanging out with the wrong crowd. These girls were pure pressuring my daughter into lots of things. To bad the principals wouldn't help me with her like move her into another class 7 months ago, the day I had to end up withdrawing her because of some not nice comments the one principal made they had chose to move her. It was to late. I probably will end up pulling my other two out also at the end of the year.

We can not say enough positives about the Pre-K program very organized and my son is learning more than I could ever expect at 3 years old! The Pre-K teachers are awesome! My son in Kindergarten, however, I feel is not getting much individualized attention and is struggling on the standardized tests due to poor attention and organization of the classroom. We have asked to move classrooms but were told this was not an option. We are just biding our time for the rest of the year and hoping for a better teacher-student match next year.

I took my son out of his last school and put him in Rosefield back in Oct of this year...BEST decision I have ever made!!!! There aren't words to express how much I LOVE this school! He was sooooo bore4d at his last school, they wern't challanging him at all and he waqs having trouble with some of the older kids on campus. Within the first week his teacher and I were communiacting via e-mail and she basicially described my son to me in a nutshell! She knew exactly where he was at in Reading and promptly started sending home advanced reading homework..She knew that he needed to be brought out of his shell and has been very good at lifting him up in SOOOO many positive ways!!! He has always been very shy and timid but even with that he was able to get up on stage and compete in the spelling bee...and he WON!!! I have never seen him sooo proud! I drive 2 HOURS a day to take and pick him up, next year I will have my other son there too...and I would drive 4 hours if I had to! I love it THAT much!!!! Rosefield is a GREAT school! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! :)

I can't say enough good things about this school. I was really nervous when my daughter started kindergarten last year due to her nut allergies. The teachers and staff are amazing and are so caring with her. The nursing staff have done so much to make it a safe environment for her, they have educated their teachers and staff over the summer how to care for a food allergic child in case of a reaction. As a parent with an allergic child that means so much to me. I just love this school! My daughter's teachers have been amazing, she is ahead in her learning so they make accommodations for her and give her more challenging work so she doesn't get bored. The staff, kids, and parents are so friendly. I also love that they still say the pledge of allegiance and celebrate holidays.

I give Imagine 5 Stars for the character program. I have two boys that go to school at Imagine Rosefield. Every month they focus on a new character trait. It seems small but it works. I have never been in a school where the children treat each other better.

I have a 2nd grader at Imagine Rosefield, this is our first year of being here and absolutely love this school. After being in public schools for two years and my daughter constantly being bullied and being told every day that the only thing keeping her out of the principles office for talking is because she's such a sweet girl, I knew than It was time to pull her out of public school. At Imagine Rosefield the staff is wonderful I have not had any problems with them what so ever. They are extremely helpful and understanding. The teachers are wonderful they encourage the kids to push a little harder to reach there next goal whether it be in reading or math. The school is on top of the bully issue and gets things resolved quickly. They really make the kids accountable for their actions . This school builds up our children and lets them know they can do anything they want.

Our daughters both attend Imagine Rosefield Charter. I really appreciate that the school is PreK-5, and is smaller in size than other schools in the area. The teachers and staff are friendly and safety-minded. They are also concerned about the development of each child and are receptive to parent concerns.

I have two children attending Imagine Rosefield for the second year and both they & I are very happy with the involvement from the teachers and the administration. Being new to Surprise we didn't know a single person so it was quite a struggle for my son to adjust to his surroundings. His teacher was the first to become aware that there were some issue needing to be addressed, and in more ways then just social adjustment. After lots of work and special attention, from many angles of staff members, we were all confident that instilling a 504 plan was best to address his needs. It has been very helpfull throughout these last 2 years and I'm so very grateful. I would, and already do, recommend Imagine Rosefield to anyone in search of something better than what is offered publicly.

Music and art program are great. I love that I can come up and eat lunch with my daughter, the charter buses they get for field trips are top of the line. Most if all is the character building. They have them say a kid of hope pledge everyday stating they are talented smart and capable of success. It even inspires me!

We have 2 children attending Rosefield (1st and 3rd) & are in our 4th year at the school. After the first two years of administration being rocky, the school went through an overhaul last year and put in place two co-administrators (one is focused on K-2, the other on 3rd-5th) who are incredible. The atmosphere at the school is warm, engaging and feels like a family environment. The staff are the best in Surprise, including Mrs. McComb (Accelerated 1st grade), who all put 150% effort into their students. Not only do the staff engage the students in character development and being young leaders within our community, but the change in curriculum this year has raised the bar. With Singapore Math and being ahead of the AZ requirements on Common Core, Rosefield leads the pack in Surprise with academic rigor. Finally, if you'd like your daughters to not look like little Miley Cyruses walking around at school, this is the place for her. The uniforms ensure that the focus is on academics, not on their bodies or what labels everyone is wearing.

This school is absolutely amazing. My daughter was in the Dysart School District before she came here. The difference in the teachers, education and leadership is night and day. I only wish I would have made this move years ago. I am most impressed with the directors. They are involved in everything, which is a nice change from Dysart, where you could never find a principal.

I have a 5th grader at imagine rosefield. she used to go to rancho gabriela until I pulled her from that school in the 4th grade the teacher at rancho did not work with her and when I moved her to rosefield she excelled. The teachers at Rosefield are great they worked with her and now she just loves being in school. They offer her the support that the other school did not offer her. Me as a parent love this school and she will be continueing on in the charter schools through high school. This school has awesome teachers and they are there if we as parents ever need to talk to them regarding our children they have always answered me right back on any questions that I may have. My son used to go to Imagine Avondale, but we moved to Suprise in November and he started 1st grade. I wish he would have attended Rosefield since Kindergarten, because we absolutely love this school. Even though Imagine Avondale was great, and is part of the Imagine schools, Rosefield to us has more structure and my son absolutely loves his teacher Ms Taraszkiewicz. They have many activities and educational field trips. My son has loved every project he has been assigned. It is amazing seeing him light up with each concept, and he learns so many different things. Amazing school very caring staff! We look forward to having our son in this school for the years to come.

My kids have attended Rosefield for many years. I have to say this is the closest to a christian school you will find in a public school. They are willing to allow God to flow through teachers, education, hearts and hallways. Because of that God is able to bless their teachers, staff, and students. I love it and can't imagine ever my kids not having their love touch at Rosefield!

The school is a very educated and dedicated school. Everyone is always happy and I have yet to see anything detrimerntal. For the education part of the school they set their standards high which is beneficial due to the fact we are teaching the kids who happen to be our next generation. Children who are in need of help get all the help that they need with no question. No child is left behind. I am a proud parent to have my daughter enrolled in such a wonderful school.

My daughter enrolled last year and I was pleased with her progress and with the staff in general. However this year I saw too many first year teachers and realized that $$$ signs are more important to this administration than experience. So many teachers had frightened grins on their faces that I was truly concerned. I was told "grim" looks will not be tolerated and that teachers and staff are monitored like Big Brother in the hallways. The administrators have little or no experience and the 6th grade students are now in a building with high school seniors. I don't know who made the decisions here in the past 2 years but the public schools have to be better than this.

This school is going downhill fast. Years ago it was organized and well ran. Now this school struggles with keeping its act together. It may be time to forgo all these internal leadership promotions and seek highly experienced administration from outside the building. Families are leaving the school at increasing rates due to this downward spiral. Whoever oversees Imagine Schools needs to take a closer look at the operations of this campus. Maybe even step in on a temporary basis. Just food for thought.

Rosefield has changed so much over the years. You would think since it is past the first couple years they have worked out their kinks. This school has actually gotten worse over the years. There are some really good teachers there, but support and guidance is not lacking, it's nonexistent. We have been at this school 5yrs through bumps and bruises. My oldest son k-5 now to switch school since they move 6th out. I choose to move both my kids, instead of attending 2 separate schools at this time. Rosefield has dropped the ball again, even when my kids aren't there. Due to it taking 3weeks for simple fax of my childrens records, my son will have to be placed into a mainsteam class instead of an enriched class. He has been in advanced classes throughout the entire time with Rosefield. I'm yet again so displeased with the lack of responsibility. I spoke with a front desk lady on the 4 days ago who knew my kids when calling in, she insured me the paper were sitting in front of her and were getting faxed after lunch. That did not happen! This school has just gone downhill but just fails now! It is very sad to me.

I have a 1st and now 3rd grader at Imagine Rosefield. I cannot say enough great things so far. Kids are not only taught academics but also how to relate to others, kindness, caring and RESPECT. Mrs Guthrie (1st Grade) is a great teacher. My child is high energy and lacks some focus but we are working together to help him improve in the areas of concentration and focus and allowing him to thrive where he excels. (He reads at a 4th-5th grade level.) My daughter started 2nd grade in Aug. but has been moved up to the 3rd grade accelerated program and is thriving. She is FINALLY being challenged for the first time in her school career and it is incredible to see her grow every day. The teachers and staff at IR truly care about their students. Whatever issues they had in the past reviews, I haven't encountered. My only complaint is the pick up lines, but it is what it is, and they do the best they can. Courteous parents go a long way in improving the overall speed of the lines. I'm not one to just go by numbers and letter grades, but would prefer to have a great school that fits my kids exceedingly well. I definitely recommend Imagine Rosefield! Both principals get an A also

My child's experience in K-2 at RF was wonderful. Now we're getting ready for another school year at RF and I'm cautiously optimistic. There will be a new principal and I've heard some fairly negative comments about her. Also, all kids were tested at the end of last year for placement in accelerated classrooms, but not all kids who scored well will be placed because of space issues. Makes me wonder if the tests truly measure what they are supposed to. Was very disappointed my child is missing out on this opportunity because the classrooms are full. I certainly hope kids in the non-accelerated classes are still challenged.

My 5th grade son came to RF in the middle of this year. He was in a previous school since Kindergarten, but after an incident at that school, I had no choice but to find another school for my son to attend. After researching, and hearing such great things about RF we decided that RF would be the best new school for him to attend. Although my son has only attended half the year, we have seen such a great improvement in his grades and over all happiness. My son actually looks forward to go to school each day, and really enjoys his teacher and other staff at RF. I am defiantly at ease knowing my child is getting nothing but the best at RF. I highly recommend this school to any parent!

I absolutely will NOT recommend this school to a parent concerned with their child s education! Starting off with the administration, I never met the principal, given that I would go to all the school functions and volunteer at least once a month and the VP is not very friendly either. In the classroom, everything seemed so wonderful on paper, but when you went in there things were a whole different story. The teachers seemed to be more concerned of the social events than the curriculum. On the other hand, I was thrilled with the idea of grouping students according to their performance level in math and reading and the small classroom numbers however, when I had the opportunity to actually go observe; I was totally disappointed! There were about 35 kids in one math class and since there wasn t enough space some were practically facing the wall while others were never paying attention to the teacher. Also, many of the students at RF are not very friendly. My children s overall experience at RF was pathetic; I can t believe I subjected them to stay there for that long!

Before we came to this school my youngest son really disliked going to school it was a challenge and a kicking and screaming match every morning....now they cant wait to go to school...it is wonderful. My daughter and my youngest son needed help in reading and also speech and they were right on it the first few weeks into school. I highly reccomend this school. Rosefield is a great school. My daughter attended the school from the time she was in second grade until she moved on the Imagine Prep. We've been with Rosefied since they opened their doors. I want to praise Mrs. Hall, Mr. Hall, Mrs. Heimann, Mrs. Hui, Mrs. Coates, and especially Ms. Fosgreen. Ms. Fosgreen was my daughter's 6th grade teacher. Her skills and understanding of each child being an individual makes her a wonderful teacher. She is the accellerated teacher for 5-6 grade. She had most of her 6th graders learning and understanding 9th grade work. Once her students moved on to Imagine Prep, her dedication to those students didn't stop there. She is in constant contact with Imagine Prep to help those children, so they are still challenged. That is a real teacher! A teacher who really cares. Thank you Rosefield for making my daughter feel at home at your school, thank you to the teachers that my daughter has had throughout her primary school years, as a big thank you to Ms. Fosgreen (whom my daughter calls "the best teacher ever!").

Principal & Vice Principal are a joke and need to be replaced if this school is going to succeed! Decided this year to dream-up a split 1st & 2nd grade combo class which is a complete nightmare!! There was no planning, just the overflow of 1st graders put in a 2nd grade class, so you have kids that can't even read with kids spelling "communication" for spelling words! Had 29 kids in the class picture, & 1 month later 9 were gone! Met with the principal to move my daughter to a different class, to find out a week later they won't, because they have no other place, yet 4 students were moved next door. Sounds a little discrimatory! I think it's time the administration goes! We need people that are effective in their positions, not people that skate area.

This last review posted Nov 5 is clearly one persons opinion. Both my kids have been going to Rosefield for 4 years now and they are doing excellent. All A's on the report cards. The teachers have been great, Mr. Brotherton, Mrs. Myers, Mrs. McComb, Mrs Heimen and the Principle. They are excelling in math and science and as far as I'm concern they are the toughest subjects. The difference between Rosefield and public schools is at Rosefield the teachers care about being there and not just the paycheck. It's is like a neighborhood school when you were young and everybody knows and cares about each other. You are not just a number on some enrollment list.

My son was fortunate to be able to enter Rosefield this past spring. While in the fourth grade, I had an opportunity to enroll him. I was weary to change schools in the middle of the year. Like most parents I want him to thrive academically and socially, and I am always concerned about how change will impact him. I must share, however it was the best thing I could have done for him. He is thriving at Rosefield. He absolutely loves it. The work is challenging and they really look at the development of the whole child. The teachers and the staff are committed to providing a great learning environment. I am glad he has the opportunity to be part of Imagine School system. The extra curricula activities provide opportunities for sports, art, music and computers. He can participate in scouts and theater productions. When I asked what he likes best my nine year old said, The kids are nice they treat each other with respect, I like it! This response even surprised me. My son s favorite part of the school day had been recess prior to attending Rosefield. Recess still rates high on his list but he has added reading and math. There is a lot of parent participation, which I like. The school is relatively small, i.e. about 600 students, compared to the average Dysart School District Elementary school size of 1000 students. This too is a plus for me. Rosefield is an awesome school with dedicated caring teachers and staff.

My children are challenged on a daily basis. The curiculum is far batter than any public school. Parents whom rate this school low and have bad things to say about Rosefield are selfish, as well as lazy. Rosefield demands high interaction with the teachers., and you have to want your children to have a good education to go there.

I have been a parent at Rosefield for the past 3 years and I wanted to write a review to let other parents know how pleased I have been at this school. There is a particular teacher I want to recognize and praise. That teacher is Ms. Heintz, a first grade teacher. My older child had her two years ago and my younger son just finished this year in her class. My two boys had a fabulous strong start, thanks to her and her great teaching ability. She has given my boys a love for school and learning and I want to thank her for that. Rosefield is a personable, caring school and I would recommend it to parents over the public system.

This is our 3rd year at this school. Although it has gone through many ups and downs, I still believe this school is the best in Surprise. We also went through a Dysart nightmare. With the new principle the school has definitely improved. I chalk it up to growing pains. I would like to see more extracurricular activities and coaches that know what they are doing. Security has improved, although the office staff needs to check ID's more often. Overall, this school is great! I will continue to send my children there.

There needs to be alot more security at this school. My child has attended for 3 years and anyone can walk in and out of there. I had family members that the schol is not familliar with just walk in and get my child and all they got were some looks from teachers and staff, but no one questioned them. This year the teachers are not great either, if this would have been our first year I would be looking for another place the second great team is not very good here this year. They are the best school in Surprise with the choices we have and deffinitely better than Dysart Schools.

I went to Rosefield for two years and I had a wonderful time there. The teachers were kind, helpful, and I learned at a excellent pace. I never noticed any problems with the office staff, and the new principal was great. I felt a strong connection with the teachers, and I had a great time with the after school activities. I felt proud to be a part of that school, and I would go back and relive those years if I could. Before Rosefield I had been constantly pushed and bullied, but the kids at Rosefield were all nice. I made a bunch of friends that i still have now. I would suggest this school to ANY parent looking for a safe enviorment where your kid can learn and exceed. - A. And T.

My children are new to this school this year. We have enjoyed our experience so far and although the year is barely started we are already seeing a big different between public and charter. We are excited to see the positive changes and the excelled learning curve this school is offering. I am very comfortable knowing that my children are cared for and safe. After much research on charter schools I have to say I would not choose any other than Imagine.

We have been at Rosefield since the beginning and although it has had its share of ups and downs one thing has been consistent and that is the quality education he has received. Every teacher he has had has been excellent! I feel so comfortable and so safe with my son there and I am excited to send my youngest to kindergarten this year! I have every confidence in the teachers and the quality of my children's education as well as knowing how much they are cared for at Rosefield! I am also very excited to have our Principal returning this year, he has made so many positive changes and I know our school will continue to excell!!

My son is in second grade, and I think his Art teacher is awesome. I was able to observe a project and the learning that was emphasized, and all I can say is that their finished product was fit for framing. I hope the Art classes continue will into the future.

Rosefield is the school you want for your children! why you ask? Well the high Quality of Care, and the way they work to make the best for you is just great. My daughter is in middle school now and has been going there since they opened the school, she has had no problems and her grades have execelled so much. I hope they can do wat they did for my child.

We are 3 years into the school with our son, now in 3rd grade. He's surpassed all expectations and excelled in state testing. The school community is tight, with caring teacher and parents - to go along with solid academic challenge. Advanced students are challenged with above-grade level work - we would not have received this type of educational opportunity in the public school district. Rosefield is highly recommended!

This is my daughter's third year here. I have always loved her teachers. They are extremely caring, qualified and involved. I see a lot of parent involvement here, which is great. I love that they group by skill level for math and reading so kids can work at their own level. I also love the art, music, PE, Spanish and library classes the kids get weekly. I highly recommend Rosefield.

This is our son's first year at Rosefield in kindergarten and his teacher is awesome. We have had friends whose daughter attended middle school last year at Rosefield and so we knew about the 'incident' but thought that the school administration handled it very well and made the appropriate changes. As for the 'drop off/pick up' with the exception of the 1st day of school has always been well organized. Kudos to the administration for being able to make the lack of space workable. Once the construction is complete next door it will just add to an already working system. Can not give enough praise to the staff at Rosefield. As long as we are in the area our son will continue to go to Rosefield. Way to go RoadRunners!

As parents, we have to say how pleased we are that our two girls are here at Rosefield in first grade. It is such a wonderful, caring school with highly qualified, caring teachers. We couldn't be happier as well as our girls. This is a great choice!

This school is wonderful! We are new to the school this year. My husband and I have children in first and third grades. We couldn't be happier. Both of our children are so excited to go to school. Our first grader loves the three teachers he has throughout the day. That is a wonderful feeling as a mother to have when I drop him off each morning. We highly recommend this school to other parents. Rosefield received an award of excellence!

This a wonderful school to have your children enrolled in. I am a first grade parent and am extremely pleased of the caring first grade teachers at Rosefield. He loved to go to school and is eager to see his teacher after a long weekend. My husband and I are amazed of what he has learned so far and it's only October. We would recommend this school to anyone looking for caring, competent teachers, especially first grade!

Imagine School at Rosefield is the best K-8 school within an eight mile (8) radius of our home, hands down. The Principal this year is wonderful and the teachers (all grades) are well educated and passionate about teaching and the children in their classes. The homework has been age appropriate and manageable. For once the children do not seem to be overloaded or up to late at night doing homework. There is time for family activities and other pursuits and yet Rosefield seems able to impart an incredible amount of information during the day in a way that sticks. Public schools in the Dysart district were less than desireable. Teachers were burnt out, worn out, over-worked and yelled at the children. I have learned there are many inovated ways a teacher can control children without yelling and berating them. We are truely happy at Rosefield.

My third yer with Rosefield and I've seen it all. The teachers and staff are wonderful. The parking is and will be a problem - unless more kids walk or ride their bikes to school. Find it interesting that the first to complain are the last to do anything to fix the problem.

We have been so happy with this school. The current Principal deserves a better than average rating on leadership. The teachers have been great for my 2 daughters for the past 2 years. The homework level seems to be the norm for our area when compared to friends schools across the valley. The children are busy all day and come home happy most of the time. That is much better than my experience as a child.

As a past parent of a Rosefield student my son struggled with the homework load as well. Why is there so much homework coming home, the children should be taught to put effort into their assignments at school, so they don't have additioanl homework.

I love Rosefield Charter School. This is our second year. I have a public school right behind my house and I still choose to send my son here. The staff is helpful and friendly. I fell my son benefits from the smaller class size. I have two more children that will be starting school in the next two years and they will be attending Rosefield also. Its definately worth the headache of the dropp off and pick up!!!

We are starting our 3rd year at Rosefield and so far so good. Happy with our new teacher.Parking issues are still there, but with such a small campus and so many students it's going to be an ongoing issue. The academics make it worth the pickup drop off aggravations.

This is my children's third year at Rosefield, and they absolutely love it. The teachers are terrific and really care about the students. The music teacher works very hard to provide the children with the opportunity to showcase their talents. They happily accept parent volunteers and make the school feel like a big family. My kids can walk the halls and most teachers and the principal know them by name. They go out of their way to make each child feel special. I am very happy with the education my children are receiving there.

Last year was our first year and we missed a pretty awesome principle but, I loved the new principle I could talk or email her anytime and go into the school anytime I wanted to. She was better than any other principle that we have had and there has been a lot. The school did an excelent job of dealing with a major problem. The teachers are just as good as we have ever had. The middle school teachers are the best I have ever met. I would get calls at night from one or more of the teachers that were always concerned about my son. Both of my sons went through one too many teachers but sometimes that can't be helped. They are not perfect but, we love it there. We are staying for a long time. There is a cafeteria. The disipline was excellent.

My children were the products of the public school nightmare until the 06-07 year where they were introduced to a whole new world-Rosefield. I was very impressed by the middle school as this was the first year and the teachers are great! Although one of my children was involved in a terrible incident within the school, the administration and teachers effectively approached the problem, stepped up security and allowed students and staff to move on and make school fun! My youngest son has an LD and with the help of the school's resource teachers his grades improved dramatically. I feel so very fortunate to be a part of the Rosefield family!

While my children have been attending Rosefield, I have been looking for a better institute. I discovered that the public school right in my own neighborhood has more to offer. Such as a good principal and administrative staff and teachers who raise the bar for education. The extracurricular activities are abundant and there are ample amounts of space for sports activities and parking for the parents who want to attend school functions. Also, an indoor gym for poor whether or school gatherings.

It is sad that all Surprise has to offer is these charter schools that are poorly run, under funded, and ruled by an administration that is more worried about making money than the quality of education that the children are receiving. Rosefield was off to a pretty good start last year. This year, promises were broken. The new principal is a nightmare. Retail stores are being built next door to the school. The school is adding yet more grades that are going to be housed in trailers 'somewhere on the premises' more kids = more money. After school pick up is a wreck. No parking. I feel really unwelcome at the school this year. It lost the warm feeling this year when they added on the middle school kids. 400 last year to 800 kids this year all on that small property. Where does one go? back to the Public schools?

For this being our 2nd year here, it is sad to see how quickly this once mighty ship is sinking. The family feeling that was there last year is totally lost. The resource department has fallen apart. My prayers are with them all!

I have a son in first grade, and if it wasn't for his teachers, he would have been out of there. The pick up system is a nightmare and we can't even go to our kids class parties because there is not enough parking. Although my son loves the extracurricular activities and the level of parent involvement is okay, I would not recommend this schools to anyone.

Wow! This school was a big mistake! Lacking administrative leadership ability, integrity, and experience. Academic programs are few, as well as extracurricular activities. Existing programs are unorganized and lack structure or any support from the administrative staff. Extreme rude behavior, and unprofessional attitudes occur among the administration, and staff. There is close to no follow through. By far this is not a school you would want your children to attend if you have high expectations for them.

We put our daughter at Rosefield with the hopes of a better education and experience than she would receive in the public system. We have not been that impressed with the academics, teachers, or administration. We had major issues with the parking and safety at the school.

This is my son's first year at Rosefield. He has an excellent kindergarten teacher. I have been amazed at his progress in math and reading. The school encourages parental involvement. Our children have attended Rosefield for two years. Last year was great and we were full of hope. This year unfortunately, has gone down-hill quickly. The new principal sends home memos and newsletters with frequent grammatical and spelling errors; the safety and security of our school (or lack thereof) is frightening; and the 7th grade students are not offered an English or Language Arts class! If not for a handful of solid and dedicated teachers, we would have left months ago. We're hoping for massive improvement.

This is my son's first year at this school and I think it is great. I have no problems with this school whatsoever. Finally, a school that puts the children first, and allow the parents to be involved at the same time. Not to mention the teachers are professional and friendly, way to go Rosefield!

We love this school. The special placement classes are great. Whether you child is ahead or behind, this school makes sure they are getting the attention they need. The music and language classes are exceptional. We were offered placement for our child at Paradise Education and turned it down. Our child is thriving at Rosefield.
