Tucson Hebrew Academy received a national designation from the US department of education. My child's school is one of two schools in Tucson considered 'the best of the best'. It is! Where else in the world can my child consider his teachers part of the family? After having taught teachers in many classrooms in many top schools in the city I have never observed a more comprehensive program with top teachers in general studies, Judaics, a Canyon Ranch wellness program, dedicated teachers in art, music and science in a warm community atmosphere. We are so happy and grateful beyond words that our son is receiving the dream education in a nurturing and extremely diverse environment. After working in many schools I recommend that you look at this extremely rare find. What a treasure! You will be amazed by your child's intellect and compassion for others. THA nurtures body, mind and spirit.

This school has only average academics. It would be better if only they didn't spend 21/2 hours every day on Judaics, prayers and Hebrew. The math program is poor. Hopefully in 2005-2006, there will be improvement.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
