There is nothing good about this school what so ever. Many of the teachers act like children themselves. Once my kids left this school I realized that it wasn't them that were the problem (for the most part:) being that their teachers and their grades today say something TOTALLY different than what was said at Centennial. At this school teachers are never wrong. Well.. they don't believe that they are anyway.

The teachers at Centennial are deeply committed to the education of their students. District guidelines sometimes seem to be more restrictive and cumbersome, making effective learning impossible. Student to teacher ratio is high, some classes have 34+ students. A new wing is obviously needed to accommodate an ever increasing student population. Scores are high in academic areas which indicates a motivated and caring faculty. Thanks for your continuing efforts.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Arizona used the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.
