My child attended school there and it was awful. There was some definate discipline issues with some children who also attended she was hit numerous times and told the teachers who did nothing about it, everyone in her class was behind and the teachers acted as if they didnt care; one child in her class was given food she was allergic too multiple times by the teacher, and we had problems with the administration about my childs allergy to fish it was an awful year and she will not be going back! i would not recommend this school to my enemys child.

This school greatly need improvement. The teachers has at least 22 to 25 students, behavior students are not properly discipline. Like these. Parents of problem children are not properly notified or do not care to deal with the school and the Principal who truly dosen't care to deal with the problem in an effective manner. There are many teachers that are excellent in teaching: M.Jackson, C.Jackson, D. Flowers, Ms. Brown, just to name a few. There are other who just want to quit, so they just do there 8hrs. and live. Change the administrative staff, add more teachers and assistants, and enforce on discipline and safety problems will solve the problem.

Franklin could be a much better school if more of the administration/teachers cared more about their student body. No, it is not a bad school because they do have some teachers and counselors who truly care about the well being of these children (i.e. Ms. Beverlee Pre-k). Unfortunately there are many more who obviously are only there to do their 'eight hours and leave'. But with the current administration in charge it seems obvious the reason why.
